FurBabies is the best for my anxious dog! They are always so kind and patient with him and do their best to make the experience as quick and painless as possible. What I really love is that they keep the kennels in plain sight, so they can always watch the dogs. My dog likes to know what is going on, and at other salons, I could hear him barking when I pulled up because the kennels were in the back. Those places also took 4+ hours to groom him, so it made me worry how long he was barking! At FurBabies, he is always calmly laying in his kennel when I come back. FurBabies doesn't double book and I feel so much more comfortable leaving my baby in their hands!

Love love love this place! It was a calm environment when we arrived and they answered all my questions without rushing me out the door . They took their time with Simba and he was in a great mood when I picked him up . I will definitely come back if we are in the daven port area. If you are looking for A groomer with compassion and patience THIS is the place.

Wonderful groomers! They are kind and patient. Josie used to hide under the bed for days after being groomed other places. With FurBabies it's just like a walk in the park, grooming days are no big deal. My friend recommended FurBabies, and I'm so glad she did. I only wish I'd found them sooner.

So, I made an appointment last minute for my two cats. She mentioned that I had to stay to keep my cats calm. Okay, cool. Turns out staying meant didn’t mean I had to sit in the waiting area. Staying I had to be her second set of hands. She did a lion cut on my chunky older cat. Not the best because she was happy and wiggling (which I was informed of the hair cut not being the best because she wiggles). Okay , whatever. Then it’s our Timid Maine coons turn. He growled and hissed. She proceeded and did three swipes down his back. Then she says “this isn’t going to work”. I was startled... he is a cat, they obviously don’t enjoy it. I said “I can’t bring him home like this”. So she “attempts” to make it work, while I held the cat. She did such a terrible job on him. It was so bad. She kept saying he was going to be stressed and she wants to help me but he is obviously stressed. Okay, whatever . I had to call around and get him groomed again ... I got him into another groomer , she stayed late for me. Got him all fixed up. Everybody is shocked that she even charged me for the crappiest lion cut ever. He looked like he went through a lawn mower, but thanks to a groomer in Bettendorf, he looks like a cute baby lion. Also, she complained about my happy wiggly cat and she complained about my grouchy sloth cat.... obviously there was no pleasing her. Her assistant/ coworker was lovely about offering to help, but the groomer pushed me to do it instead. I would have felt awful charging a customer full price.

Located at 504 1/2 N. Cody Rd., which is actually on Ferry St., they do a great job with our Yorkie. Her hair is always perfectly cut and groomed and nails nicely trimmed. Would recommend.

It was so nice to leave my puppy on well trained hands that took such great care of her. They kept all of my concerns in mind about her coat and had her looking great and smelling fantastic!

I call them the whisperer's ....she just whispered into my pugs ears and she miraculously behaved letting them clip her nails without a fuss. It was truly an amazing thing to watch! They are so caring and it's obvious they have a true love for animals.
