Cute small business. We stopped for food. Got cheeseburgers and frys to share. Ordered at window sat down at the tables offered. Food was brought out to us. The cheeseburgers were good, frys were bland but cooked well. Didn't get to try the Ice cream offered. Reading the other reviews kinda made me skeptical but it was ok. Also cash only.

They need more of these kind of places. Old gas station converted into a drive in style eatery with in or outdoor seating. The only issue we had, was there were a lot of gnats when we got there,but they had some bug spray right at the order window which took care of that problem.The owner seemed nice,the prices were decent,and the portions were good. Overall, we enjoyed our stop, and I'll be looking forword to stopping there again when I'm traveling that way.

If I could give no stars I would! I am lactose intolerant and couldn't order ice cream with my kids. I got a Chicago dog. This $5 hot dog came with nothing on it and only ketchup and mustard I had to add myself. Complete waste of money! Call it a hot dog cause this isn't a Chicago dog. I could have bought a whole pack of hotdogs for this price. #Will not visit again. Wouldn't recommend *

It was Memorial Day weekend and this shop was woefully unprepared! What I can only assume is poor management led to them having a broken soft-serve ice cream machine, and only two or three random unpopular hard ice cream flavors in stock. Just two people working, both teenagers, not getting along with one another and obviously in way over their heads with constant orders and no product. I realize it was the busiest weekend of their season, but they could have done things a whole lot better!

We ride cycle from Winona down a couple times if not more to stop for a bite to eat and of course for ice cream! Have never been disappointed with either. All the workers have always been friendly. Everyone in our group would highly recommend to stop here. Then when you are done eating a trip across the bridge is a must.

Giving them two stars because the Ice cream was good and the kids running it really were trying but they surely need food handling training, after seeing other orders being made while we waited what seemed like the longest time, we decided on no food. The bathroom was atrocious so use at your own risk ⚠️

Owner or older woman working was so rude to us and the others working there. First she made the wrong thing and when I told her I had asked for something else she threw it in the counter and told a co-worker to throw it away. Then we were told after my husband ordered and paid that the flavor he requested was gone. He didn't want anything else and at first this women said they would not issue a refund. After I told her the situation the boy working gave us $2.48 back when the cone cost over $3.00. it was not a good experience at all. Very disappointing 😔

Get ready for a shock at the register. They raised their prices without updating their menu board, and they won’t honor the posted prices. The sundaes were made of a very low quality soft serve too. I won’t go back.

We were really excited to try this place. Their scooped ice cream was good and they rotate the flavors, but they messed up our orders. My wife had ordered a dish and it came in a cone, and to fix it they dumped the cone in a dish, which clearly was lacking one of the flavors she had. I had an Oreo whip that was very rushed and not well mixed, making it essentially mediocre vanilla ice cream. The few pieces of Oreo in it were at the very bottom, which you hope more of when it’s the most expensive item on the menu. I’d be open to going back and giving it another chance as the vibe is laid back and it’s right by the river.

I normally never leave bad reviews but my experience was extremely poor. My family and I routinely drive from La Crosse, WI to here for their amazing food and ice cream. Lately, the service is worse than McDonald's. They always forget your food items and anything you order. Ordered an extra hot dog, and not surprisingly, they forgot to include it in my order. After waiting by the door patiently, I had to grab the attention of a worker (who ignored me several times before I spoke up). I explained my issue and she went to go get someone else. This lady came out with the receipt and promptly told me that I did not order an extra hot dog and I did not pay for it. She was extremely rude and wouldn't let me talk. She then slammed the door in my face and shouted "Have a nice day" from the kitchen which made a big scene with the all the people outside. I will never be returning here. The food has declined in quality, and the sizes of their ice cream dishes as shrunk but the price remains the same. If you wanted to be treated like a nuisance, recieve incorrect food items, and have a door slammed in your face - this is your place! You are better off getting the same cheap French fries from a store and cook yourself because this place has gone downhill. Also to the woman who treated me like garbage about my hot dog, I hope you enjoyed cleaning the water out of your Jeep Wrangler when it started raining out and you had to run out of the kitchen looking like an idiot. Karma comes around for everyone.

Stopped by to get some lunch on a trip to Lansing. Really great food, and the employees were beyond nice, and seemed like actual people. They dont take card, but were more than happy to make my order as I went to get money from an ATM.Check this place out if you ever visit!

My family and I went to skinny dip icecream and i ordered a chocolate malt with cookie dough and they forgot the cookie dough and it tasted like CARD BOARD then the rest of my familys ice cream was like yogurt and the only good ice cream was the root beer float and i do not reccommend going there.I wasted my money on skinnydio icecream.

I’m up here from Chicago to visit family and they recommend that I should try this place out and I can see why the atmosphere is great the ice cream makes me feel like a kid again and the food is delicious definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
