Loved the room. Host was not responsive at all and a little difficult to get ahold of. The patio with the grill hadn't been swept or cared for in awhile. The birds have taken over a bit. The wasps were horrible in the morning making multiple trips up and down the stairs. Grill was dirty and there were no grilling utensils or anything to clean it with when you are done. No steak knife in the room. But still a great value and I really liked the room and setting. Just a little more attention and care and this could easily be a 5 star stay.

Completely renovated and decorated beautifully! We had 3 out of the 4 suites with the main suite having a private balcony with view of the river. Walking distance to many downtown restaurants and bars. Great place to stay, will do again!

Really enjoyed my stay overnight. Check in was a breeze, room was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was bright and clean as well. Would definitely recommend staying here and enjoying the close proximity to the river and local retail.

I travel a lot for work. It is a quaint place and if I traveled to Lansing, IA again I would stay here again. I don't think there is any other place within 15-20 miles that I would stay. I am not staying in a motel. I'm used to staying at Holiday Inn Express & Hampton Inns to give you an idea of my expectations.

Perfect spot for a weekend away. Located close to all bars and restaurants. Very clean, felt like you were at home. Price point was spot on.
