A great place for breakfast. The decor was amazing and so was the service. The Great Day Bowl was huge!!! Biscuits, hash browns, sausage and sausage gravy and eggs. I had the breakfast sandwich with sausage. Wow. Well done.

Spent the night in Keosauqua for breakfast we were told that Great Day was the place to go. Ordered eggs over easy, crispy bacon and american fries. Everything came perfection. American fries were crispy both sides and just right in the center. Toast actually had butter on them. Wife had biscuits and gravy, some of the best that she has had. And breakfast was really reasonable. Definitely a place to stop back at if we make it back down to the area. If you are passing through definitely worth the stop.

Weekend stay in town arrived at noon. Great Day was a wonderful stop. Yummy food and friendly staff. My husband had Doc Sel salad. I had half smoky ham sandwich & house salad. We shared the curly fries. DELICIOUS. I think we're going back today!

We had our Church Christmas Party there. Staff was very polite and and helpful. A buffet was setup with 2 main entree's and sides and deserts. Costs covered by church, but are reasonable during regular business hours.Parking: On street in front. Just as close as a parking lot would be.Kid-friendliness: Family oriented. No play equipment, but kids welcome.

This place is a hidden gem. A great menu and the presentation is beyond expectations. It's very clean and filled with so many special items that it's hard to narrow down your choices. The family run business is friendly and engaging. We'll definitely be back and we'll bring others with us.

Great place to go for breakfast or lunch. Our party had tenderloins, salads, & hamburgers; all were very good with large portions for everyone.On our way out we loaded up on cookies, fudge, and flavored popcorn to take with us.Will make a point of going there again when we're in the area. Good service, an open, friendly atmosphere, and clean, modern restrooms boosted it to a 5-star. Keep up the good work!

Stopped in for lunch during the festival. The wait staff was friendly and did a great job. I had the BLT with fries and it had plenty of bacon. My friend had a chili cheese dog and was happy. Loved the atmosphere, the color purple and the choice of music. Will go ahead if I'm in the area.

Their breakfast is amazing. Their pan cakes are truly pan cakes...about the size of a plate and an inch think. Put a little whip cream in the middle and on top spread around and you’d have a cake. The only thing that would make them better is if they were offered with strawberries and ice cream with a touch of whip cream.The staff is friendly and helpful. And it is a local favorite.It’s a wonderful place to eat and then have a great day!

I had the pleasure of having a nice lunch here. We were out roadtripping and we stopped for a bite to eat. The burger was amazing. The bun was toasted and all the veggies were fresh and very tasty the steak fries that came with it wre perfection. Oh yeah the fudge is also spot on. Im from quincy il and it was well worth the drive

What a great find in Keosaqua. We had overnighted at the Manning and the locals all recommend breakfast here.Excellent coffee, food and service.Had a nice visit with the owner about surviving COVID-19 and how restrictions had hurt tourism this season. She share details of the town and surrounding county towns. Locals were friendly as well.

Not what you expect to find in a small community!The menu includes heathy and tasty choices for carnivores AND vegan's (with everything in between). The food is fresh, not manufactured or processed. Surprisingly, everything is served in an artfully eye pleasing fashion.The staff is friendly and on the ball!I would expect to pay much more for the quality but its cheaper then super size drive thru food.GREAT coffee!!! Homemade fudge! YUM!

Food and atmosphere were great, I give four stars only because the lettuce on my sandwich had several wilted spots that I am assuming just hadn’t been caught, as my grandmother’s salad was perfect. Definitely would go again.
