recently needed to purchase a washer and dryer. I chose The Appliance Barn because they carry the top brand SPEED QUEEN .The sales person was very knowledgeable and courteous and explained all the models and then I selected the best one to fit my family. Thank you so much for all your help. I’m gonna need a refrigerator soon. I guess where I’m going to go back to Kalona to the appliance barn.

The Appliance Barn in Kalona, Iowa was the nearest dealer for the Elmira Stove Works appliances.Dan Landes was especially helpful in making sure we were ordering the appliances that would meet our requirements. Recently, we purchased a new LG washer and dryer pair from the Appliance Barn. From my first call with Mary at the Barn to the two separate deliveries, everything was "First Class".With each delivery the installation teams arrived on time and installed and tested the LGs. We are lifelong customers and our most recent experience just highlighted how much we appreciate The Appliance Barn. Upon returning home from a major surgery and wheelchair bound with a Meal Train about to kick-in, our fridge died. The next morning I explained our situation and we had a technician here that day, a new fridge figured out with their sales department and installed and up and running the next day. It was incredible and such a gift to know I could count on them during such a stressful time. Thanks to all who helped move mountains for us!

I have received excellent service each of the many times i have gone to the Appliance Barn. Mary is competent, professional and kind. Recently I had both a clothes dryer AND refrigerator wear out within 4 days of each other!!!! They were both over 10 yrs old.Thanks to her and her exceptional installation team of Dan and Nick, i had both new appliances up and running within 5 days, which included a weekend! EXCELLENT( unless u like using ice chests).HIghly recommend......

I will never make another purchase from the appliance barn and I would recommend you don’t either. We purchased a new speed queen washer dryer set. We were told they were a very good set and highly recommended. We had nothing but problems. The washer did not go through cycles right, the dryer had a malfunction that melted part of our beds comforter. We brought these issues up and had a very difficult time getting the appliance barn to take us seriously that these machines weren’t right. Finally after a negative google review they were more accommodating and found several issues with the set. We still didn’t think the washer cleaned clothes properly but decided to give it a shot for a while. I recently put in a load of laundry with a pair of shorts that had dirt on them. I ran them through a heavy duty cycle twice and they were still not clean. I called back to the appliance barn and explained the situation, issues we were still having, and said I just wanted to sell the set since they were unwilling to get us a new functional set like we paid for. They must have thought they didn’t make enough money off us because they wanted a 25% commission to sell them. Moral of the story is if you have issues with new appliances, the appliance barn will leave you hung out to dry and try to make more money off you instead of standing behind their products.Keep in mind they were willing to put our washer they know does NOT work right and put it on their sale floor with a $850 price tag for each piece to try to get another 25% off another customer. Not a reputable business practice and indicative of their character.

We had an outstanding experience purchasing a washer and dryer from the appliance barn. Dan’s knowledge if the produces was exceptional. He was friendly, professional, and gave us the opportunity to explore the features on the washer and dryer without hovering over us. Our washer and dryer arrived as promised and the delivery process was smooth. This was our first experience with the Appliance Barn and we definitely will be return customers!

Outstanding Customer Service and Great Communication! Tony did a fantastic job! During these times of appliance shortages, our dishwasher of 14 years began leaking. We looked at repair costs and the age of the dishwasher and decided to purchase a new one. Not so easy... couldn't find anything in the Quad City Area so we reached out to the Appliance Barn via their message function on the website. We received a timely response and were advised that the dishwasher we wanted should arrive at the store in about 3 months. There was a slight shipping delay, which we were informed about, and the new dishwasher arrived at the end of April. The Miele dishwasher performance exceeds expectations.

They did a great job helping me get a great deal on a new washer and dryer.We had to get rid of our old one's quickly, so they bumped our delivery date to within 1 week.The delivery team also took out the old. I highly recommend the Appliance Barn for anyone needing a washer and dryer.

I wasn't expecting to find what I was hoping for in a dishwasher and in white. I compared their actual offered price and it was the same as a big box store at that point in time. Appliance Barn doestheir own installing. Plus I believe I can count on them for future service. They have a good reputation. I worked with Keith Hostetler who spent some time checking and I was able to get my dishwasher much sooner than manyplaces were telling me.It wasn't an easy install due to location in my kitchen but it was well done (thanks to Larry and Josh) and I am very thankful to have a dishwasher again.

We had a wonderful experience with the Appliance Barn! We worked with Tony Boshart in selecting and purchasing new appliances for our kitchen. It was important to us to purchase from somewhere that services what they sell. So, we made the 60 mile trip to the Appliance Barn. My husband was working long hours, so I first went alone. I appreciated the great customer service which is something I didn't receive when alone at some bigger stores in Des Moines. I had my oven picked out but was otherwise open to suggestions. I never felt like Tony was trying to up-sell me to a higher end brand or model. We ordered in the middle of the supply chain issues, so our appliances took a while (through no fault of theirs), but Tony was open and responsive throughout the process. We had not yet started the remodel, and knew even the big box stores were seeing wait times of several months. The install team was efficient and clean. They actually made multiple trips to our home as the appliances arrived at various times. We look forward to visiting the Appliance Barn for future purchases.

Wanted to give a shout-out to Tony and the whole crew over at The Appliance Barn Inc in Kalona. Came home at 2:30 in the afternoon to an old, dead (full) deep freeze. Called in and had a brand new unit delivered to the house before 4 the same afternoon! Couldn’t be happier with the entire process and recommend this local business to anyone in the market for new appliances!
