Great deals, spacious and non-pretentious. My favorite "scratch and dent" store, just keep an eye on "best by" and expiration dates, remembering that "best by" simply means that's the date is still at top quality. Carries canned and packaged food, odds and ends of hair and bath product, toilet paper at a great price, lots of cheap candy, coffee, tea, juice & non- alcoholic beverages, some gourmet items... School and cleaning supplies, meds, misc. Ample parking, they provide boxes and bags for you to load your purchases in. Not open daily - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday only.

This is a good “scratch and dent” grocery store. Some items are expired so don’t forget to date check, but they are usually a good buy that can save you lots of money! I can usually get lots of things and a small amount of money! If you’re near by definitely check it out!

There is always a find at this 'scratch and dent ' grocery. They get closed out inventory from lots of high quality vendors as well as a huge selection of more generic goods. The prices are shockingly low, and you'll always find something that you want. The hunt is part of the fun.

The prices are often 90 percent lower than what you would pay at a grocery store. Many are past their best by date or slightly damaged but also some incredible finds.

One of my favorite places. You have to watch some of their items are not any cheaper than new in the store and definitely have to look at the expiration dates. Other things are definitely a good deal. But it's a clean place and workers are always so friendly!

Went here not knowing what to expect but I loved it. I got two huge boxes of food for $50. Watch the dates and look up online to see how far past the date will go and be ok. I bought several things that was still in date for a while. Good selection of food, household, baby items. No cold stuff here. There is some things that is prices the same as a sale price in store, but most are great prices! I will definitely be going back again and again. The staff isn't overly friendly, but just stay to working.

Terrific treasure in Kalona area! Often times a wonderful and plentiful selection of gluten free food items for great prices. Also decent prices on high quality coffees of all kinds! I steer away from crackers because I find they often have a taste of being older, not stale, just strong oil flavors. Overall, just a fun place to spend $100 and walk out with a cupboard FULL In fact I have cupboards stuffed to the gills!!!

If you like cheap food, day-old donuts, coffee pod cups, obscure brands from other parts of the country? If you like flea markets, or hunting for food treasures... this is your spot! I have gotten my melatonin usually 14$ at the store, here $1.25 cause if dented bottle. Calming dog aid is usually 12$ for $2.25. Outdated cookies, cereal, and taco shells have all been just fine for the price! Bring cash and be ready to bag your own. They do have plastic bags and boxes for all the canned treasure you find too.

On a budget, super place to shop for staples. Yes, some things are close to sell by date or past. Most foods are safe well past that date. You can find all sorts of items here, vegan, organic, gluten free. I found red lentil pasta and gluten free snack bars. I was able to stock up on high energy items that I use when I cycle long distances. Definitely a dream store. Kind employees too. Thanks bunches.

Great place to save money on food!!! Very friendly staff that work here, and they are very helpful. Kind and generous! You can find excellent healthy options here for a fraction of the cost!!! Some of the food will expire soon, but when it's that delicious and that cheap, it's better than paying the full price at your regular grocery store! I love this place!! Great place to go if you're on a tight budget.

This is an Amish discount store. They are always polite. You can find good deals on cereal, granola bars, snacks, many other odds and ends items that help stretch the budget a bit farther.

Clean, friendly, dented or damaged goods are super cheap!! Candy, water, pop, coffee ☕, juice, Gatorade 😋. Breakfast foods, spices, bread, chips, cereal, baking goods, cleaning supplies. Just a little different each time you go. You never know what they will have. Check or cash, no debit or credit cards. Just a lovely Amish store 🍁🍂

This is a great place to stop to get discounted food. It is about the size of a fareway and takes several minutes to get to from the interstate. Use GPS or phone to get her, MapQuest was incorrect. Almost all the food is expired. Count on 5-10% of food not tasting right. Keep this in mind that you will not keep the food around too long. The customer service was poor. No one greeted us when we came in, asked us if we needed help or said a word at checkout. You bag your own food and it is best to bring bags or boxes as they might not have any. It is worth a stop. I bought quite a bit of food for $45.

Never leave without stopping. Get alot for the prices. Can restock pantry with more than I have shelves for in a single trip. My vehicles always loaded for 3-4 months,or more, with the basic needs. Better than any grocery store around.

Great bargains, and great fun looking through all of the products that CD offers. Watch your dates, (sometimes well past expiration), and you can walk out having spent $50 on $200 worth of food and goods. Even some off the wall items!

I was impressed with variety of products on shelfs. Since this is a discount grocery store, some products will be past expiration date. Also my have damaged packaging.Overall a good experience and good place to shop for budget shoppers.

Always a good find here...just watch your expiration dates. And check to make sure it's open and their hours for that day. They are closed on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. And be respectful of the owners who are Amish.

I love going here, can buy a whole cart of groceries for under $100 and that's a heaping grocery cart I may add. Not everything is expired but if you do get something, it's still decent.

The employees are friendly and helpful but Don’t buy anything to eat or drink without checking the expiration dates, almost everything they’re selling already expired, later I realized the food I bought here five out of seven were expired.Very cheap and accept cash or check, no card.
