I never feel rushed when we have an appointment. The receptionists, vet techs and veterinarians are always friendly and very personable. We love and trust Westfield.

We have been going to Westfield for 12+ years - that should say alot about them. We have been pet owners for over 40 years and Westfield has by far the most caring and knowledgeable staff that has ever treated any of our pets. They greet, treat, and handle their patients as if they were their own pets. Couldn't ask for a better facility for our pet.

We had to put Charlie, the guinea pig, to sleep.😭 In the photo, Charlie was alive but sedated for the examination purpose.Affordable, clean, very understanding, easy to make an appointment.

I took my baby here for 8+years, DR. Staffers was the best! He got a promotion last I heard. I am beyond angry with the care my cat received here soon after. $350.00 each time he wasn't feeling well. Of course I paid it each time-cant put a price on my little Angel. I took him in because he was screaming non-stop & I was worried he was in pain-another $350.00. They told me everything is fine but to keep an eye on him & bring him back if he stops eating. I decided to get another opinion “Healing Paws in Ankeny” his kidneys are functioning below 25% $100.00 1st time visit & bloodwork labs etc. My cat was suffering- I guess he’s worth more $$$ alive then doing the humane thing. SHAME ON YOU!!! I put him to sleep soon after. I loved the end of life care we received @ healing paws in Ankeny. I Highly recommend making the drive, its worth it.He passed peacefully on Nov 15th, 2022. I wanted to wait until my anger subsided before I posted this review. People make mistakes- I know the truth. Hopefully, I can spare someone of the pain and guilt I endured by posting this review.Ps: if any of your pets suffer from hypothyroidism & are receiving ointment in the ears, the vet in Ankeny recommended giving pets treats with the medication it’s easier on their kidneys & less expensive.

Completely unethical. Charged me almost $1000 for a neutering procedure. Really disappointed as I felt taken advantage of. Should have shopped around so maybe it’s partially on me but you would think they would look out for there customers and talk about options but it’s just a money gab. Researched after the fact and on the high end I found procedures were$500. Will not be returning. Can’t trust people, expensive lesson to learnEdit: now they are refusing to transfer paperwork to the new clinic. Playing games like they haven’t seen my dog. Clearly do not care about animals, just profit and greed. No morals or ethics.Sad world we live in

Our daughter recently became a snake owner and we wanted to get a vet established for any future care of the newest member of our family. I searched with google and found Westfield Veterinary Hospital to be one of few to offer an exotic pet vet. We drove 1.5 hours for this particular vet. Well worth the drive! They did not disappoint. I called ahead to set up an appointment. There were openings within a reasonable amount of time which I was extremely happy about. I was concerned that they might be overran and booked weeks out. That was not the case. They had next day and same week openings available. They were happy to take on a new patient. The location of the office was easy to find. The office is clean and has a very roomy open space. Plenty of comfortable seating, 2 public bathrooms easy to access. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They greeted us with a smile. We didn’t wait long in the office before being called back to a room. The assistant was great with communication and asking questions. The vet came in shortly after. She handled our sweet guy with care and confidence. She gave him a thorough examination and discussed options. She offered suggestions to help us being new to owning a snake and gave us printed information to further help us. Upon leaving we were promptly assisted at the counter with paying our bill and handed a printed receipt. I feel they are reasonably priced given the specialty care needed of our exotic pet. We had a wonderful experience for our first visit. We are happy and confident that we found our new forever snake vet. I would recommend Westfield Veterinary Hospital to anyone with exotic pets. I added a photo of my daughter, her snake, and me waiting in our room for the vet. Elvis, our ball python, was pretty comfortable too🙂

Wonderful Doctors and staff, they are professional, kind, experienced and caring. My father was a veterinarian before he passed, I worked with him for many years and I have high standards when it comes to Veterinary care. I’ve been bringing my fur babies to Westfield for over 20 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend them!!!

We are blessed to have such amazing care for our 2 pups. As new pet parent's, we had a lot of questions and the entire staff put us at ease! We appreciate the organization of the website, the appointment and vaccination reminders and the "optional" vs "recommended" treatment plan that helped us to better afford having 2 pups neutered at the same time. We couldn't imagine navigating the future without the incredible team at Westfield Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Clubine, Danielle, and Katie were AMAZING!! They were incredibly compassionate and highly skilled as they sedated our sweet Cooter for his nail trimming and ear cleaning. They worked as a highly efficient team which made the process easy on Cooter - and it took less than an hour! Now Coot feels and looks like a newly coiffed man! I am blown away by the professionalism demonstrated by the entire team at Westfield Veterinary Hospital! Thank you for everything you do!

They have taken very good care of her when she had her surgery, and when she injured her foot, they got us in right away, they answered our questions, and made sure we were completely satisfied before we left. Took our brand new puppy in due to a virus. This was our first time ever visiting the clinic and am so thankful we choose them. Westfield was on top of it in every way. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The communication back and forth left nothing to be desired. The drop off/pick up processes they have in place due to Covid are smooth and effortless. I just really can’t say enough. I highly recommend for not only emergencies but everyday care of your furry loved ones as well. Thanks again Westfield!

Veterinary Doctors explained what was going on with our pets in way we could understand. They were honest about vaccines and their importance. My cat also had an accident on the way to our appointment, and without asking the staff of the clinic cleaned his kennel and brought a towel out to help clean our cat. I highly recommend Westfield Veterinary Clinic.

My first appointment was filled with so much information. I got what I needed and probably stayed too long due to all my questions but they were willing to answer every one. I’m very happy to have brought my new puppy here and will continue to use them.Update over 2 years later: I still 100% recommend them. I still to this day feel like this is the safest and best care for my dog. The receptionists are friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. The nurses/assistants are loving of your animals and make both your animal and you feel safe. And the vets are all of the above. Will go here forever with all of my animal needs.

Dr. Dupuy and the staff at Westfield have taken great care of my cats and dogs over the last few years. They are always very nice, respectful, and understanding of any concerns you may have about your pets. Recently we unfortunately had to say goodbye to one of our dogs. The staff at Westfield understands that pets are like family and exceeded our already high expectations for their end of life care. They let us have as much time as we wanted with our dog before and after the euthanasia, sent us a card in the mail signed by all of the staff which included nose and paw prints, as well as a clay paw print mold when we went to pick up her ashes. Losing a pet is hard but Westfield shows that they love each and every pet that comes through their doors as their own and I couldn't ask for better care!

I cannot say enough good things about Westfield Veterinary Hospital. I have been going there since 2016 and every experience has been positive. The entire staff is knowledgeable, professional, personable and friendly! They have always been able to get my babies in when needed for appointments or last minute issues. We recently added a new puppy to our family and the entire staff is extremely responsive, friendly, and very thorough in their explanations. They don't make you feel like you have to do something a certain way (nurturing timeframe, for example) but they educate you with as many studies/research on the issue, as possible. We also have a hound dog that had several ear-infections when we adopted him, and after a few follow up appointments he's been clear since! I love sending both my dogs there and feel like we are in great hands!
