A small diner that has many different options for lunch. An extensive kids meal as well as adult meals available. Some of the options are different tenderloin breaded or grilled, pizza burgers. They have lots of options for misty treats to drink otherwise they serve pepsi products. Make sure that you save room for desert of many options of ice cream.

First time trying Dairy Kone was a good experience. We got there at about 11:30 and it wasn't too busy. Lots of good looking menu items. There was only one person working, so she had to wait tables as well as prepare the food, clean up after. So if you're in a hurry, I'd suggest ordering ahead. I had the Whole Hog (with raw onions instead of the grilled that normally comes on the sandwich.) It was really tasty! Wife got the cod with hush puppies (I don't remember the official name of the dish.) She enjoyed her meal too.By the time we were done eating, we were both too full to try any of the ice cream selections. That will probably change soon. We'll definitely be back

Had a craving for Corn Fritters, yep. Been years since I'd eaten any and the Dairy-Kone came up as the only place within a reasonable distance that had them on the menu. 25 minute drive and I'm ordering them to find the fix I suddenly needed after many years LOL. They were not the homemade ones I was really craving, but were very good never the less. The gizzards I got along with them were not half bad either. Yea don't ask where these cravings came from as I'm only going to blame a TV show where homemade dumplings were being made. Not sure how I got to gizzards and corn fritters from that, but I did :)What really surprised me about the place was the decor. Not something I expected at all. I would have went there for that alone. I'll let the pictures tell that story.

Extremely friendly staff and scrumptious food. Wisconsin cheese soup is delicious and so is the cherry 🍒 slush with vanilla ice cream.

Worth the 2 minute drive off of highway 20. Nice little diner with ice cream shop. Very friendly and quick service. My burger was great and my wife’s chicken salad sandwich was delicious. Nice selection of ice cream flavors. My mint chip shake was awesome.

Chocolate malt was delicious! We also shared a double order of cris-cuts. Perfectly prepared: fresh, hot, and crispy. The ice cream cones the kids enjoyed were excellent. Wonderfully smooth soft ice cream with great flavor.

Although they have an extensive menu, their prices are beyond ridiculous. We wanted a quick meal for us and the kids but chose to go to an actual sit-down restaurant because we got higher quality food and service for a much lower price. $9 for a burger?! I'd pay that if it was exceptional, but it was far from. Pretty run-of-the-mill, actually, not to mention you have to get it and run, causing the food to lose most of it's appeal by the time you get it back home. The staff seemed like they wanted to be anywhere BUT there, which made us want to be anywhere BUT there as well. The ice cream is pretty standard too, and for newbies to the town, we expected a lot more from a place we'd heard so much about. We'll drive to the Independence Dairy Queen and, even with the high price of gas, get better food, find a better selection, enjoy better portion sizes, and get friendlier service, and we'll still save money (and time, as it took them almost 20 minutes to fulfill our modest order). Step your game up folks; this is why small businesses are being overrun by bigger companies. It's a shame is what it is.

The food is good, but the service is slow. If its busy and you don't want to waste time waiting on your food then go somewhere else. We spent 15 minutes waiting to order and then another 20 to get our food today.

Amazing selection and the staff was nice and we didn't have to wait long and they have all kinda of food from fried pickles to cheesecake cyclones! Their ice cream was even better than Dairy Queen!

I was not impressed at our last visit. The girl serving us looked unkept, service was slow and, i dont like how they run your card on a tablet suggesting how much you need to tip them!

When i moved to jesup 4 years ago i started eating here. This place is amazing the staff is so nice! They even say hi outside of work which is a pluss and shows how nice this town can be!! The food is AAAAMAZZZING!! 10/10 Staff 10/10 Food!
