Nice smaller Hy-Vee. They have a restaurant, as well as take out food. There is a meat counter as well. Generally can always find what you are looking for and can always ask an associate to help.

I'm visiting from out of state so I didn't know what to expect. I was happy to see all of the brands I know and love and the cashier was so warm and friendly.

So I just wanna bring this out in the open, the customer service at this store is very bad. Went into the store yesterday and saw some Ice Cream on sale, it said $3.98 and when I got to the register it said $4.98 so I asked an employee but this employee didn’t even wanna help. She tried making me go update my rewards account then come back and purchase after I’m done. Why can’t you just adjust the amount by $1.00 before I update the rewards because the Ice Cream will be melted by the time I get back. Your customer service is TRASH and I would rather drive 30 minutes to Walmart then shop here. I hate this place but being in Jefferson you don’t have much of a choice.

I do think for a small town that the Jefferson HyVee is a very nice store compared to many other HyVee's I've been in.

I am not fond of the self checkout and having to wait long times, sometimes, to get through, but there are some employees who 'save' the store, like Lee, Larry and Jane.

Good besides the meat counter guy kept debating with us. After we told him no we want what we wanted. Employees are lazy and can't restock shelves. Wanted to buy stuff and couldn't. Went to multiple workers asked for help and no one could figure out how to get me the items i asked for. They told me to come bk in afternoon and they still didn't have it. It's quality is horrible.

I use to love this store but not so much anymore. The employees are rude, when you try to ask them a question they look right through you and walk right past you or you can’t find anyone. The shelves barely ever have anything on them. You go online to check prices and when you go the same day the prices are wrong and you spend a lot more on the same items you looked for online. The place got so expensive and by the time I come home and start putting groceries away I see a lot of the stuff is expired! I use to order things online but I don’t anymore since the fruit and vegetables I got picked out for me were disgusting and things expired! We have decided we are done with Hy-Vee and just going to start shopping at Fareway for now on!

I only had to get somebody over three times to do the self checkout which was very discouraging. And sometimes you just need to stop and read before you go and get them. Without him I wouldn't have looked like a fool. But they're always helpful good pricing

Super friendly staff that are always willing to help! Love how the store is organized making it easy to find what I need. Since covid I have noticed they frequently have items out of stock which has really bummed me out, but staff can usually tell you when they will be restocking. Can usually get in and out pretty fast. They always seem to have great deals and make it easy and affordable to shop for a family of 7.

Honestly, I don't have anything positive to put on here about this place anymore. You have to check yourself out now while the workers just watch you and only half the time do they even help you sack your purchases. If you shop the last 30 minutes before they close be prepared to listen to Mitchell squawk in the intercom over and over to hurry up and get your purchases to the front to check yourself out. If you plan on getting items that are in the ad/on sale good luck to you cuz that section of the shelf will be bare. I don't know where the evening stocking crew spends their time but it's not on the floor stocking shelves and you won't find one to even ask if there is more in back. They used to give you item free if it rings up wrong but they quit doing that and I advise you to watch what things ring up as, chances are you will find a mistake. Oh ya, and they shut the customer service desk down at 9pm and the store closes at 10pm.I went to Fareway the other night and that store was stocked and faced to perfection. Courteous employees in every aisle and not once did I have to listen to some teenager on the intercom telling me to hurry up and get out. My advice is skip this store and shop Fareway. They appreciate your business so much they will actually check you out, sack up your groceries, AND take them to your car for you! What a novel idea.

We have had mostly positive experiences here for years, but lately the customer service is really lacking. I have a toddler and sometimes it’s easier for us to utilize the aisles online option. Last weekend, aisles online neglected to text us for substitutes if items were out of stock. I was out many items on my grocery list and had to call customer service for an explanation and make a trip elsewhere to get what I needed. I thought that the whole point of aisles online was to make shopping easier for busy families and prevent a long trip to the grocery store, but this isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue. This weekend, we placed an order for pick-up at the restaurant. When my fiancé brought our order home, none of our sides were included. I called and asked about our sides and was informed that they “forgot” to give us the sides, so I just asked for a refund on them at that point. The restaurant employees were standing around talking to each other and there were only 3 tables seated so it didn’t appear to be super busy. It seems that some of the younger staff on the weekends (high-schoolers maybe?) need more training and supervision. I’m not trying to offend anyone, but these kids really need some guidance on providing adequate service to paying customers. I have worked short-staffed many times so I understand those issues, but there really is no excuse for the lack of adequate customer service. It would take just a few extra minutes to text aisles online customers for substitutes or double-check an order to make sure that everything is included. I’d rather have slower service than service not done right or not done at all. Please take this as constructive criticism.

Employees were polite and helpful. When asked where something was they walked me to the spot in the isle where the product was, which is always extremely nice. Glad Hy-Vee still does this!!! The store was clean and well stocked which makes my grocery shopping so much nicer and low stress! The young lady at the check out was polite and fast. My experience was fantastic! Thank you Jefferson Hy-Vee!!

Always love walking into Hy-Vee and receiving the courtesy from the employees with a smile every time. Clean store, always willing to help you find what your looking for. Just amazing community of people! Polite and I would recommend this store over other locations

Clean and typically well stocked. They seem to be reorganizing a lot of areas so some items can be tricky to find (or are possibly being discontinued, but I have not asked yet.) The staff is always friendly and polite no matter what time of day I shop there, which makes the experience so much better than other places.

The store itself is very nice, and is a clean, well stocked place to shop!However... the grab and go meals are nasty!I had Mongolian Beef. The meat was really good! The rice was hard as fish gravel, and had the flavor of chalk!I had to throw most of it out. Wasted money!!!I would not recommend grapping a grab and go meal here. (Unless it's the meatloaf.)

They have a cashier who accosted me twice when I went to buy Google cards. She wanted to know what I was going to do with thm and I told her it wasn't any of her business. I will never go back there again as she was rude and talked loud so everyone in the store knew what I was doing.

Worst breakfast I have ever had at any establishment this morning. Was supposed to get 3 eggs but only got 2. Ordered them “Over Easy” they came hard. Hash browns were hard as a rock and my bacon was burnt. I do not send food back so I just lived with it. NEVER again!

Hy Vee is our main grocery store. We reduced our visits to the "other guy" for a variety of reasons. That said, there are things we are satisfied with in "our" store and things we aren't. One thing that sorta irks me is sale items. Granted our store is not a large store as Hy-Vees go so I get that there are limitations in stock. But it does get a little old to look for something listed on sale in a flyer and find empty space on the shelf. And it stays empty. It doesn't get restocked (at least while the sale is in progress). Again, I get the limitations of a store this size but a repeated lack of sale items is irritating.

I have no problem with the store. Always very helpful. The gas station..not so much. I had 40 cents on my card for gas. I scanned my card and started fueling. After 3 gallons, the pump stopped. I went inside and told them. They told me they couldn't do anything about it. I wanted to fill my tank, but since it stopped and reset..I was just "out" the 40 cents a gallon for the rest of my gas. DIDNT SEEM FAIR TO ME, BUT I DIDNT SAY ANYTHING ELSE.

Traveling, left my inhaler at home, had to go to Hy-Vee pharmacy to call my home pharmacy to get an emergency refill. When you're having trouble breathing even fast & helpful service isn't fast enough.So grateful for Courtney going above & beyond to help me.

Really Gone down hill lately. Called to order a cake and it seemed like they were annoyed by my call. Don’t worry. I’ll order somewhere else.Never really know when the restaurant will close. They will take your online order and charge you, then call and say they are closed and that you have to come in and get refunded by gift cards.I have on MULTIPLE occasions found Moldy cheese on their shelves.

Came into establishment to purchase a 2 entree meal at Chinese part of marketplace and instead of paying the $4.99 price advertised, I was charged $15.99! Argument ensued with cashier and management, offering to show them the sign did nothing! I got 2 general chicken and 2 egg rolls for $15.99! I didn't even get the rice! I'm sorry I went there on my lunch break! Never ever will I go back!

Store seems nice. Just went there for some chinese food and had a bad experience for whatever reason. I ordered a two entree meal and there were only 3 pieces of chicken in one of the entrees, which equates to like $1.75 per piece of chicken. The orange chicken was just gooey breading, no meat. I ordered a glass of water and didnt get it for 15 minutes...literally. i just got forgotten about.

Love Jefferson Hyvee. The staff members are extremely polite and attentive to the customer. Only reason not five stars is the immature and none professional behavior with some of the floor stock crew.
