Bought a cat from my daughter and asked to have her records emailed to me today so I could give them to my vet so I could get her vaccinations up to date and they never sent them. Guess I should expected as much with whom I’m dealing with!!!!! Don’t recommend this place at all!!!

Well, I met the new vet. They call her Dr. Amy. Don't remember her last name. She is not a chatty Cathy but you can tell she loves animals. One of my dogs gave her a doggy hug. Animals know. She is gentle, fast, efficient and she answered all my questions. I give her 5 stars and my dogs give her two paws up! Glad you came to Jefferson Dr. Amy!

I absolutely love this vet. I brought our cat in a couple months ago and she was really sick. He got her in right then and there and did surgery. And he didn't make me pay the whole price for emergency surgery. Plus he is my dogs vet and he is awesome with Chico. Love them all. I would recommend this vet to anyone

Did not appreciate being told my dog probably had cancer. My husband ended up treating our dog and he is now wonderful. A little tenderness goes a long way Dr. Pete! Slow down when observing an animal.

As much as I do like how they care for my animals, they lose 2 stars for lack of emergency care. Our poor little dog hurt his paw and was crying uncontrollably. We called and all we got was, " Sorry their are no doctors in." We called during business hours too. Very dissatisfied with the only Vet in our town. Luckily we managed to figure out what was wrong. But shame on this place for not staying staffed when they are supposed to be.

I have had to take my dog to Gowrie because she was so afraid of the original Doctor here. Since that time, I am no longer mobile, nor is my older large dog. She did well with Dr. Peters so I called hoping for some help with my elderly girl who was in extreme pain today. The receptionist took all day to call me back to tell me they couldn’t help me because I had not brought my dog to their clinic lately. There was no empathy nor referral. I was sick with worry and wasted a full day of my dog being in pain. I expected empathy from a small town vet and received policy. My dog is in her end-stage of life and just needed some pain relief and this was cold and unfeeling.

Having a terminally ill pet is a very difficult journey. The entire staff at the Jefferson Vet Clinic showed care and compassion toward Hunter and myself. They really do care about the welfare of the animals they serve. I do highly recommend them.

The staff is so friendly. They walk you through everything.It was a sad day since I had to put my did down for medical reasons.The staff talked me through the whole process and let me stay as long as needed and the lady vet was awesome,she stood right by my side.

Best veterinary clinic I've ever been too. Professional and they actually care about your pets well being unlike others that only care about the money and not your pet. Would recommend to everyone

I wouldn't trust this clinic with your pets. They dont seem to carry meds that could benefit small animals with anxiety or behavioral issues. They tried to tell me me indoor shaved persian had fleas to sell me flea treatment. Ive worked as a vet tech before alnd this place was unbelievable. Dr was arrogant rude. Plus the place is over priced.

I called at 3:15am and within 20 minutes my dog was seen by Dr. Peter's. With his help my dog's symptoms ceased enough he was able to finally get some sleep. Thank you.

Excellent service, they really care about our pets and not just about the money, I have been taking my dogs for seven years and I have never had any complaints, the new vet is very good, the whole team is really nice. I highly recommend this place.
