Great selection and helpful staff. However my item was non-refundable. Ironic, since I hardly ever go into that store and yet the one purchase I made is not refundable, and turns out to be the wrong item. My fault for purchasing the wrong thing, but definitely needed a return policy that was better than that one.

The location is great for residents on this side of town. The staff was helpful with finding the hardware I needed for the project. They were out of a commonly used piece. I had to purchase two different pieces instead, but it got the job done.

Always a place to stop in. They have the usual hardware store items and a lot more. Staff offers help with fix it ideas and finding those pieces in the store.

Call and asked what they had in stock in terms of key blanks to save myself a trip, was told they had what I wanted in stock, I got there they didn’t have it, they told me to go to the other store. The other store didn’t have it either so I spent an hour driving for no reason. Will not be returning.

They had our order ready for pick up in less than fifteen minutes of placing the order! That's amazingly impressive. We also had a great separate experience where a man working checked on us and gave great advice about a project being completed.

Always helpful! Love this business as they seem to have so much of what a person may need for home projects. The customers don't have to walk through a huge building hunting for things and unable to find anyone to help out. The staff at ACE are knowledgeable and professional. Great locations too.

Always a fun place to shop, they have so many interesting things and of course all the hardware I need. I came from cedar Rapids area to get my lawn ornaments from them, and dropped a load of cash. So many cute things.

If you need a specialty fastener. They have it. If they don’t have it….. chances are you don’t need it. The staff is very helpful and are willing to discuss your project and give you helpful insight as to what else may be needed to “Finish Strong” taking their advice is up to you, but I believe if you don’t that you will definitely be going back to the store one more time. Keep up the great work Lenoch & Cilek.

Usually this place is great and people are helpful. That being said I came in one Sunday (today) and the staff seemed irked or inconvenienced to be helping me or something… never felt that way before today so I think it was a fluke and they were having a bad day or something.. I think I prefer the Northside Ace location off dodge as they’re always friendly.

Had a great experience here. Dean in the paint department was very helpful. He was meticulous with getting the paint just right for me. If he didn't know an answer he was honest, which was what I needed. I would rather have him tell me he didn't know then lead me down the wrong path. His co-worker checked in on him and was able to answer my question. Both employees were very friendly. I will definitely check in there first for my hardware and paint needs. I would recommend Lenoch & Cilek Ace Hardware.

Laziest employees I have ever seen. We asked a group of 3 employees where a tool was and they told us the row number without walking us there. Our tool we needed was locked in glass, so not sure why they didn't take the time to walk us there so that we could get the tool out we needed. I didn't want to split up the 3 employees obviously having a great conversation, so I just left without the tool. Will not be going back.

Had to order a key for my Jeep. That’s fine, it’s a chip key. They called today to say it was in. Told the lady I would be in after work to get it done. Would have been awesome if she could have told me nobody knows how to program chip keys after 5:00. Wasted what daylight I had left and could have been doing useful things but nope. And getting off work in time to get there before 5:00 isn’t going to happen so I will find another place that has capable employees after 5:00

Lenoch & Cilek Ace is a great store. It is much smaller than the big box stores, but that is wonderful! I don't have to walk a mile to get potting soil. I also love that they have succulents. And I buy a lot of kitchen and cake decorating things from them. I really appreciate their help, when I need it, and they ask if I need help, but don't hover. Really great store.

The store staff was helpful in finding what I needed and answered all of my questions, but the guy at the register seemed like it was a bother to ring up my purchase. He was more interested in chit chatting with his coworkers and I apparently was interrupting that.

This is my favorite hardware store. They have a wider selection of many things than the big stores, and you can be in and out much more quickly. The prices are fair and the staff is very helpful.

They are so helpful here, you get that home town feeling because they are so helpful and they are in my neighborhood. No big crowds or long lines. The other night I called to see if they had an item I could not find anywhere, even Walmart. Not only did they have it, they said they would have it at the counter for me when I got there!! Love that

Great simple store. Prices good for a brick and motor. Always have a wide variety of parts and products I need around the home. Think of plumbing, wiring, garden, and the like that are simple and straight forward.

Good experience.Came to rent a carpet cleaning machine - which cost $30 a day, with a $30 deposit.A little hard to navigate though.Almost bought the bissell carpet cleaner (which is a bad idea) - before realizing you can clean your carpet with laundry detergent too.

This 1 staff just messed up my good review. I come in, black and beautiful and of course had my mask on. He eyeing me down hard as soon as I come in like he scared not amazed. I did have my hand in my pocket coming in (lol) because I was pulling my key out to get copied. I said why you looking at me like that?He say what do you need what can I help u with? I said nothing and turnt away. CREEP. Eyeing me down because of being black or beautiful. 😆

We dropped off a broken window for my handicapped son at this ACE Hardware store to have the glass replaced in it. About 10 weeks later and after having to pay an excessive total charge of $60, we finally got the window back with the new glass in it. When my daughter called to complain about the time it took to to get the window fixed and the high cost of fixing it, the manager tried to blame my son (who had gone through two surgeries during this same 10 week period) by saying he (the manager) had called and left a message on my son’s “answering machine” six weeks earlier and that my son “must have deleted my message”. There was no message left on my son’s cell phone voice mail by this manager to begin with. Besides that fact, wouldn’t you have thought a decent and smart manager would have called back at least one or two times as a courtesy or, if not a courtesy, to remind the customer that the store was holding the window and would like to have it picked up and paid for? When my daughter tried to explain to the manager that we had inquired about whether or not the window had been fixed several weeks after it had been dropped off and that at that time we were told that it had not been fixed and that we were given the excuse that their regular window repairman had been out for several weeks and that they had a temporary person doing the repair jobs that was new and was being trained, the manager became very belligerent, abusive and rude and basically hung up on her. So, we would have given this business zero stars if we could. We recommend you take your business to another hardware store in the area or to Lowe’s or Menard’s unless you want to be treated unprofessionally and rudely.

Love having an Ace store close to our home. It has everything we need for a small weekend project, from cleaning supplies to indoor/outdoor paint and some pretty items to decorate the front yard.
