I love Fairway! I enjoy the smaller size store rather than the huge competitors at times. They offer great selections and good prices. Check outs staffed and fast and they bag items safe and secure each time. Friendly people and clean, well stocked store, with easy parking. Definitely good for big stock up to need to grab a few items and neither time have to spend hours in a store, like I tend to at other places. Only things they dont offer (that I know of) is an order online, curbside pick up for extra convenience or a customer reward program. Still 5/5.

Every time I go there I was treated not with respect but always being watched and being discriminated against, because of my husbands race compared to other customers. People like Jacob in the meat department not wanting to debone a couple of chicken thighs for me. Couldn't tell me when the monk fish came in and was rude and no interest in helping my husband and I. I will not be shopping here again. I am tired of being treated disrespectfully every time. I don't steal. You can call your store christian ran but if you still be ugly inside. I go where I am treated fairly and with respect because that is how you all stay employed is if customers keep coming in.

Cleanliness is so appreciated carts wiped down all workers in masks. Asked for light bulbs and a young man took me right to them so very helpful.Love love the meat counter so many goodies and wide selections.Jacob H. was so polite and helpful. I love going here for the produce and the meat counter! It also has small carts for kids, which my son loves. It is a smaller store, so occasionally I can't get what I need here. But overall, I can't think of any other reason I wouldn't recommend this store. They also have amazing customer service. Many of the employees know and greet me and my kids by name. Completely genuine and amazing customer service. Love that they help you out to your car as well. Thanks Fareway!

I have never had a issue with the store itself but this morning I was very taken back by a employees rudeness. She spoke rudely to coworkers as was very unfriendly while we walked out to my car. I completely understand having challenging mornings. If I had been her co-workers I would of definitely spoke up. Otherwise as always it was a great visit

I like going to fareway for their wide variety of meat and produce. I also appreciated that they had a good variety of baby formula which is saying ALOT nowadays. Fareway is always clean and always has good selection along with good customer service. They are moderately priced, typically less expensive than hyvee. They have also recently added 4 self checkout lanes.

Best grocery store I've ever shopped at! The size is just right, not so small that they don't have everything and not so big that I get lost in there. Great selection of all kinds of things from canned food to an excellent meat counter. They even do propane exchanges. And the staff has got to be the friendliest ever. They take my groceries out and load them in the car for me every time, I don't even have to ask. It doesn't even matter that they're not open on Sunday, I'll come back a different day to shop because the experience is so good.

I have been in Iowa City for 2.5 months, and just driven by the Fareway on my way to other grocery stores. Big mistake on my part. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the simple and easy to navigate layout. I found everything I was looking for with ease. When it came time to check out, there were two registers open, so a line was forming. They called for more cashiers, and seemingly out of nowhere, three more showed up, and checked everyone out quickly. I had two bags, and the cashier offered to help me out to my car with them. What a great place to shop, would highly recommend, and I will be shopping here again.

I have always liked the Fareway stores. It reminds me of the way stores used to be when the workers would carry the groceries. I did not buy much today (1/30/2021) because most of the merchandise seemed over-priced. The Fareway in Washington, Iowa always have wonderful deals, so I was disappointed at the prices in Iowa City. The staff was friendly and kind. The store was clean except a few of the isles only had enough room for one cart. Their parking lot was plowed out and clear. Really, my only gripe was the pricing.

The people are on the ball .Must be good management see the same faces in there all the time. The prices Change daily so stopping in 3-4 times a week is well worth it.I don't like wandering large grocery stores after work when I'm tired and my feet might be sore.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. The meat department is great and the employees help out when I don't know how to cook something. They also discount their items to mirror competitors ads so I don't have to shop at other places! Love this store!

We came here to buy some quick groceries. Sarah was our cashier & she was quite rude. My sister & I were with our grandfather. Sarah was ringing up some limes & proceeded to ask our grandfather 3 times how many limes were in the bag & did such with an attitude. Our grandfather does not speak a lot of English & she did not even give him a chance to respond before continuing to ask with a poor attitude. It was obvious how many limes were in the bag & unnecessary for her to speak to us in that manner.

Excellent help, clean wide aisles, with the friendliness meat counter group, I've ever met at a Fareway Grocery. Enjoyed my shopping experience tremendously and will now do all my shopping there 🛍
