This is a great full-service hardware store. I've had them cut glass, and it is always perfect. I also had them repair a broken storm window. I expected it to take a week because I saw the pile of work that they had in the backroom, but I got it back in two days. A+.

I've always had great experiences at McCoy's. Lots of knowledgeable people and the prices seem fair. A wide variety of of indoor and outdoor house materials/tools. A lot of rental tools and all seem to be very well maintained. A great local business that I will continue to shop at!

This is a smaller locally owned hardware store. The owners are well known and big supporters of the community. This store will not have the huge selection of larger chains. However, If you have an odd fixture or bauble you don't know the name of can't track down a replacement then this is the place you need to go. The staff is super helpful getting you pointed where you need to go.

There is always someone there to help you find what you need or to help you know what you're looking for. I've gone numerous times with a question about what to do and the staff have been able to help me out. It's a family run business that's been a staple of the community and one I'm happy to support. 4 stars because their selection is sometimes small and limited, though some people may view that as a good thing.

Unfortunately, the service at McCoy True Value is in decline. Some employees are fine to work with, but others are clearly disenchanted with their jobs and are taking it out on customers. I tried to get help with a chainsaw and the person was upset that he had to answer my questions. When he became rude, I told him he needed to stop and that I would talk to the manager about him. His response was, "Well, she's right over there." Later I called the manager, Monica, and she gave me some vague response which included, "every customer is different" which I take to imply it's my fault for the way I am responding to rude behavior from her employee. Steve, the original owner, would never have tried to shift blame to the customer. McCoy better come to realize that customer service and locality are the main things that makes them better to shop at instead of larger stores. Getting respectable service helps to make their very limited inventory tolerable, and now even that is in decline.

We bought paint from them supposed to be amazing paint but now 3 months after painting we have 3 rooms peeling! We primed the walls and waited between coats and still. We went in because it claims to be a lifetime paint and we have to still buy our own new paint.

I was never contacted about my order being delivered to the store and then received a notice that it had been picked up. No use of face masks by employees or customers. Only visible COVID-19 precaution was plexiglass barriers that the unmasked employees kept coming out from behind. It’s sad that the management isn’t - at minimum - working to protect their employees.
