Incompetent employees, good luck trying to get anything out of their locked cases. Waited 15 minutes to get into a case and was told I get it upfront when I checked out. Then when I went to check out they didn't have the item. Instead of them fixing the situation I had to go back and repeat the whole thing because again there wasn't an employee available to open the locked cases. Total time in store was 45 minutes when it would have been 5 minutes tops at any Target.

Not the greatest experience at the customer service counter. It's run by a bunch of children who all understand the return policy differently. There likely was no classroom training for any of them, and even the supervisors seemed confused. At one point I nearly fell over a bicycle that was in the middle of the floor and the young lady just watched me as though she was watching some television show. When I finally got on my feet & back to the counter, she continued the transaction as though nothing happened. Our world is decaying at a rapid rate.

My gf and I visited this Walmart for the first time last night around 10pm and were met with a very unpleasant experience. Bought some boxes of marked down Pokémon cards and when I went to return some items to the shelf AFTER paying for the boxes (which were in bags and gf is still standing at self checkout waiting for me to come back) the front end Team Lead asked her for the receipts and looked in our bags. We weren’t even at or out the door, literally still by self checkout. When he came he also just stared at us the entire time. Bags are not supposed to be checked, only items outside of a cart are to be reviewed on a receipt and that is asset protections job not his. Gf told him only items outside of a bag can be checked for on receipt and he told her that the items being rang up were prompting some kind of notification to them which wouldn’t even happen anyways because they are not high ticket items, they would not need to be reviewed by an associate for any reason so therefore the TC would not even be notifying anyone of any action to be taken. Additionally, if he thought something was wrong why wait until AFTER the transaction to check? There is a review screen after a transaction to rate the experience and it is completely unfair that he waited until after because before this happened we did give a good rating on that prompt and now it is very undeserving and inaccurate. That was not his job, was not his place, and he handled it extremely poorly. There was absolutely nothing done on our end to be treated as though we were stealing anything.

It is a very exciting store. The employees are very helpful and every thing was easy to find. One thing for handicap could use more rideable carts. I am handicap and I couldn't find one.

This stores employees do a great job at keeping everything stocked and organized so you can always find what you're looking for. This is probably my favorite Walmart.

Pretty good for a Walmart. Women’s clothing is much smaller here than other stores of similar populated communities but all n all good for what you need.

Fast and clean. Well stocked. Was able to get in and out without waiting. The cashier was amazing (me). They only didn't have one item I was looking for.

3000 mile trip on a motorcycle. Oil was not in oil sight glass. Purchased one quart of full synthetic oil and a collapsible funnel. Filled on 12 ounces. Not too bad for a hard week of riding, eh?

I shopped at the Walmart in Independence, IA on April 7. It was a very busy day. I had purchased several canned vegetables for our local food pantry. I wasn't sure if I had to scan each can or if a clerk could do it quicker. A nice young woman offered to scan the cans and then i finished up with the rest of my order. Staff pleasant, helpful. I will definitely shop there again.

I purchased an onn 8" tablet and got home with it and tried to set it up. It did not work. Thought ok I will take it back the next time I go to Walmart. I live 30 to 40 minutes away so no I did not turn around and go back. With gas prices the way they are thought I could wait tell the next time I go to Walmart. I have had is insurance in the past never had a problem with it. I was screwed out of over 129 dollars because of the policy change!! Never get Allstate insurance on an item at Walmart. You will have to pay for sending it back.. bottom line is this insurance is a ripoff!!

They rang up my items wrong and when I said something they voided the wrong thing and they couldn’t figure out how to fix it. Gave up and left. They were much better the second time around. The cashier was friendly and responsive.

Went in for a couple of items. One was a crockpot. Got one at a great price. They finally had 2 employee operated checkout lines. They have too many self checkout lines. Also all the Walmarts open the American ice drink packs. They need to leave some unopened. Not everyone buys them one at a time. They had all that I needed.

No complaints here. Placed an online pickup order before driving from Cedar Rapids. Once there one employee verified our identity before another employee brought it out. With baby formula in short supply I was very thankful they made the extra effort to make sure the order was going to the right person. Thank you.

Horrible. It's been 2 years since I been in a Walmart to shop and they made me feel like I stole something. 3 or 4 of them surrounded me and my lady while we checked out. Nobody else being watched. We suffer from high anxiety and I will record my next trip on there.

I live in Texas and this location stole $920 off of my card and the store manager refused to escalate it past herself. Refused to even acknowledge that her staff are thief’s. just be warned that someone who works their has issues with stealing and committing credit card fraud.

Small Wal-Mart compared to Cedar Rapids. Clothing is very limited. Everything is limited really.They do have essential items and food. You can always order on line and pick up their next day

The bags seem to continuously get worse it took two bags for nearly all my groceries, and I didnt get much. Everything is overpriced and the quality of service is trash.
