Wide selection of top choice meats and deli items. Great selection of fresh produce and other groceries. The prices are reasonable and a good value.The staff are friendly and helpful in assisting the customers. You might have heard about a helpful smile in every aisle but the Independence Fareway has that as well.

Prices are good. Have carry out grocers. Meat counter offers good selection. I feel they should carry more choices of brand names. Good grocery store over all. At times when done if their sales they run out of the product and yes you can get a rain check but at times it's just remembering to go back to get it by time it's available. Sale items I think they'd order more of them. Fareway here in Independence is clean, curtious and 1 of the best food chain grocery stores in the U.S.A to shop with. Keep up the good work.

I don't typically cook but go in with recipie and staff are helpful to find ingredients, especially when don't have exactly what the recipie calls for and the meat department is the best place I've ever gotten meat from. Friendly, helpful butcher people who know thier meats well

Great atmosphere for a small town grocery store- anything beats buying food at the big box store with the sheep. The teenage sackers could really use a comprehensive course on evening out the gross weights of the grocery bags- the flimsy sacks either rip out at 15 pounds or float away at less than a pound. And better signage of the flyer sale products would be greatly appreciated.

I mean it's a grocery store what do you expect. I really love their food though. They always cut their fruit fresh in store and cook all their food there too. It's pretty good. The stuff is somewhat cheap so I really suggest going there but sometimes walmart is a little better. The service is pretty good but some people are finiky about masks so watch out

I had a very bad interaction with an associate in dairy, a tall older man named Michael i believe. I asked a simple question as to a location of some cream cheese and he was very rude, he made me so uncomfortable I just decided to go to Wal-Mart after for my item. The only reason I gave 3 stars is for the amazing register associates. They were so friendly and helpful, I wish I could talk to them more but they seem scared to hold a conversation.

Cashier was talking to another cashier wasn't paying attention, I was told to take cc out of machine, guy came we were walking out to the car, when the 2 chatty cashiers ran out side yelled I had to come back in because my card transaction wasn't complete, it was embarrassing, could have been avoided if workers were paying attention. I'm not from area and hadn't used the cc machine, it different from any other transaction I've ever done.

Fareway has the best meat department and they are happy to cut and package your selections however you want. Aisles are wide, store is clean, help is friendly.
