Very disappointed in the service today. At noon the 2 day specials were still ringing up at the original price and 2 clerks were trying to help me when manager Dave went bye. He blew them off and hurried out the door. I feel a good manager would have called for backup and explained why he could not check into the problem.

Love the paper bags, bagging service and the carry out, reminds me of what a grocery store should be. Not a fan of the high prices, Fareway brands are the normal brand name prices at other store, but don't taste as good. The fruit and veggies are higher prices than elsewhere, and you have to be careful, because fruit like grapes typically sold priced by the bag at Aldi are priced per pound for the same amount so if you are not watching you can spend ALOT more than you expected. The meat counter is pretty good except sometimes you will get old oxidized meat inside the hamburger, like they are mixing old with new. The prices sometimes are really good, other times outrageous. The local dollar general will keep some of their prices in check, but eggs and milk are super expensive, compared to other stores. I guess the price of having service like we used to have normally is jacking up the prices. Overall I like having a store in Huxley, so thanks Fareway!

Huxley store on Highway 69Wonderful store, great sales and the absolutely BEST place to order party trays. I ordered a veggie and a fruit tray for the holidays. Due to the weather and flight cancellations I had to reschedule the pick up date and the store was just so wonderful about it. When I did pick up the trays I ordered, they were very pleasing to look at and the taste of all the products was exceptional! They even accommodated a special request on one of the trays that I appreciated so much. Price was also exceptional. Jacob and Dave are the best! The other staff members are well trained, friendly, and always helpful! I love having a local store so handy to where we live. Thank you.

Not a fan of only having the option for paper bags. They are a pain to carry and deal with. Otherwise this is a great store with everything you would need.

It's ok. Employees could be a bit nicer and helpful. Do not have much variety to choose from but I guess it's located in a fairly small community so that could be why. I don't like the fact that fareways are closed on Sundays

I LOVE the employees here! They are friendly, helpful, and patient. I have had to change things around due to funds or an item not being WIC approved and I have NEVER felt rushed because of the employees and they have never seemed frustrated or anything other than patient and helpful! The selections are pretty good for a small town store, there could be more selections for some items (the dark chocolate, creamers, and maybe the ice cream) but at least they have some. That's really my only complaint. For a small town store this place is great!

Newer store. First time here. Limited selection of products. They didn't have a specific type of tea bag that every other Fareway I've ever been to carries. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Its a decent little store with basics. Staff is friendly. Prices are high because its a small town and kind of expensive type of community. Anyone sayin prices are fair or reasonable is probably a wealthy person or bot.

I love the employees of this Fareway. They are hometown people and always friendly and helpful. I appreciate the old school policy of having baggers carry out your groceries for you, but Fareway will always only get 4stars from me because of two things. The carry out guys and gals will get in trouble if you carry your own groceries out, even if you ask them not to, and Fareway as a company donates money to anti-LGBTQIA causes. Until equality matters to the company, their stores will never get 5 stars from me.

Can't speak for all Fareways but the one here in Huxley is so professional, very customer service oriented crew, and the management greases up their elbows as much as the employees. Never had a problem with the staff. Even the butcher's take the time to get to k is and learn their customers.

Awesome Fareway! I will always ship here! I came home the other day with bags of groceries and I had two bags completely fall out on me.. I called fareway not to complain but just to let them know about the bag issue. They asked for my address and delivered my items to MY HOUSE. I didn't not expect them to give me knew items but they did and thy even brought a pie. So thoughtful and not something they had to do.

For being in a town this small, and where Ames is only 15 minutes away, it's an excellently stocked store. For certain things or brands you'll still have to travel up, but if you aren't brand-loyal or making fancy dinner plans it's more than adequate.

If you wanna buy rotten meat then make sure you go here went here tonight to get dinner for my family including 2 pounds of the fairways own ground beef and got home and realized the meat was foul smelling and horrible called the fairway spoke to three different people and the last guy told me that all he could do was take down my phone number and name and offer me the same meat that I just bought tonight and he couldn’t do anything else because it was out of his paygrade

They have a lot of selections and I love their meats! Especially the bacon! My only complaint is they could have MORE selections for some items. The checkers are WONDERFUL though!

The last three times I have brought back my clean pop cans back to the Huxley Fareway Store, where by the way I bought them. I get complaints from the employees. Based on my experiences this business does not need or want my business. I will go elsewhere. Mark Baker
