This store has everything. If you are in the area it is a must stop, but give yourself time to explore this store. Fun kitchen supplies, beautiful woman's clothing, toys, candles, etc., etc., etc..... So many things to see and buy.

I am from Idaho and was visiting relatives in Iowa when they showed me this adorable store. It has a little of everything, wonderful, helpful staff and I hope someday I will get to go back. Thank you Snyders for a fun experience. Wish we had a store like this in Idaho.

This store is a treasure in southern Iowa. Spent 2 hours shopping and still feel like I didn’t see everything. Found some great gifts and they wrapped them beautifully.

A General Store feel from yesteryear in the 21st century. The business stocks a wide variety of sundries that might be needed in practically any home. From stationery items to cleaning supplies, toys and baby clothes to basic hardware needs, gardening, sewing and simple notions, and an extensive selection of kitchen wares, as well as an oft-spoken of ladies and souvenir clothing shops.All that is topped off with extremely personable service that is attentive yet not overly intrusive. And when finished with your visit, your purchases will be cared for by the Snyders' ladies as though they had been purchased by themselves; they take care to wrap purchases in whatever manner that might be appropriate, and place all in a sturdy, signature Snyder's rope-handled shopping bag.If you're looking for that one thing for your home, maybe it's something a parent or grandparent suggested using, that you can't find in any big-box store, give Snyder's a try. You just might find what you're looking for. And even if you don't, I'm sure you'll find plenty more that you will want to take home.

Great variety store with all of the essentials you need right there in Humeston without having to drive out to Corydon or Chariton. The shopkeepers are incredibly kind, and helpful! Be sure to just stop in even just to check out their selection.

ThIs giant store located in Wayne County in Humeston is a must see. This store has everything you need. Huge women's clothing section, giftware galore, Hawkeye and Cyclone clothes and gifts, artificial flowers, huge selection of kitchen wares and gadgets and a COFFEE SHOP. Store setting is an old store front with many original features. A destination for the whole surrounding region. Lunch available right across the street with a huge selection of pie. GO!
