I have to say it was one of the best experiences we have had. We’ve really had struggles with breeders. Not this time. Trisha was incredibly responsive and nice with reasonable prices. And I haven’t even talked about the puppy. Oh. My. Gawwd. She sent home the sweetest cutest little baby that we just adore. We highly recommend Denning. We are in KC. So, It’s not the easiest place to get to, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Well worth the trip.

We recently picked up our new addition to the family the day after Christmas. This is the second time we have chosen to go through Denning Farms since our first experience with our son Nelson was such a positive one. Bringing our new guy Bruno home has not disappointed either. First of all it is such a blessing and so easy to work with Tricia. She truly loves all these babies and it is so obvious in her commitment to find the perfect pet parents. Shes so full of energy and joy! Secondly the atmosphere the dogs are born into is so wonderful! Their home and the dogs homes are spectacular. Our Bruno has brought such light into our lives. While is big brother Nelson is still getting used to not being the center of attention he is slowly learning to love him as much as we do. Bruno had his first puppy visit with our family vet and Dr. K made the comment about how healthy and joyful Bruno is. He said he could tell he was definitely in excellent conditions prior to coming home with us. I can not recommend using Denning farms enough if you are looking to bring a new little one into your life. Every single moment of this experience is worth it!!!

Denning Farms in SE Iowa is a great place to get a puppy. I brought a sweet girl cavachon home recently and she is doing great. Lucy is a happy, playful little girl who gets along well with my other dog. Highly recommend checking out the many breeds Tricia raises.

The Dunning Family Farm website is amazing. Almost too hood to be true. Well, it did not disappoint. Tricia was a pleasure to work with and most patient and accommodating. We drove 4 hours from WI and took our chances. It was well worth it. An extremely clean and wonderful environment for the puppies. We chose 1 of 2 beautiful little females, 8 weeks old. No pressure, just a real pleasure in choosing our little girl. So tempting to take both but one was what we came for. Beautiful and clean, happy, playful little cuddles of joy. Our sweet puppy has been nothing short of true pleasure and kisses and puppy hugs. Playful and awesomely well adjusted. Already 90% potty trained and we’ve only had her 5 days. Excellent genes. Smart and precious. Highly recommend Dunning Family Farm. Our sweet Teddy Bear Annie will be loved and cuddled for years to come.Thank you Tricia and Family

First, I wanna start off by saying what a pleasure it was, dealing with kind clean people with a small town personality. We love our Boo bear. What a beautiful little boy. He is very calm and friendly and a lot of puppy. A happy dog makes a happy owner. We absolutely love him and he is already comfortable and is a perfect fit. Any price on these dogs we fill is cheap for what you get for a lifetime of love from these great little animals. We struggled to find a legit, breeder and all the scams that you can find along the way, but make no mistake. These people are the place you want to go to get your little friends….. thank you so much!!!!

We picked up our Cockapoo from Tricia at Denning Farms in September 2018. The experience was great - as first time pet owners, we had a lot of questions and Tricia was happy to answer all of them.We LOVE our Waylen. He is very sweet, smart, and playful. He loves all people and other dogs. Today, Waylen is 7 months old, 15 lbs, happy, and healthy. He is 95% potty trained (accidents are very rare and he quickly learned to sit/bark by the door when he has to go outside - even in other people's homes! I just don't trust leaving him home alone yet). Our vet visits have been great. The vet also commented that Tricia did a nice job documenting Waylen's vaccination history.We couldn't be happier with our puppy. I would definitely recommend Denning Farms!

Denning Farms has an amazing facility and my fur baby, Paddibear, a teddy bear, is the love of my life pup. Tricia and her family obviously love their dogs and puppies and provide all the information needed to have a successful adoption. When I can I will go back to Houghton and adopt another teddy bear. Best experience in my 50 years plus of dog ownership! ♥️♥️♥️

I got my Maltipoo Lexi a year ago from Denning Farms. Tricia was so helpful and answered any question I had. Lexi came home with a bag of dog food and a blanket with her mama scent on it. She was up to date on any shots. I took her to the vet a week later and she got a glowing report. Lexi adapted fast to our home. She is so smart and full of personality!If I were to get another puppy, this would be the only place I would go.Highly recommend

We adopted our cavachon, Louie, in June 2019. He is the sweetest, smartest, and best lil dog ever. He potty trained within days and blended into our family of six flawlessly. He is great with our four kids. Depending on how we get him groomed, he can look like a lil fluff ball, short and lean, or halfway in between. His favorite place to be is laying next to someone snuggling. We ❤️ our Louie.

This was our second puppy from Denning Farms. My wife calls us repeat offenders. The pups are well cared for and very social. Clean facility and up to date on Healthcare. Both our pups received compliments on their first vet visits on quality of animal and records provided. Hope they are in business if we need another quality pet. Thanks Tricia!

We got our sweet pup Pippen (yes, like Scottie) in July and we are so in love! We live in Chicago and discovered the Cavachon breed while searching for best city/apartment dog breeds. We definitely made the right choice, our little Pipp is the best and he acclimated to the sounds and smells of the city right away. Tricia gave us a blanket with the scent of his siblings on it and I think that helped him feel comfortable the first couple of nights with us because he didn't cry at all. We also have a pet bunny, who he is so sweet/gentle with. He loves everyone and is a super happy/healthy pup! We get asked what breed he is literally every time we go outside, I think that everyone in our neighborhood wants a Cavachon now! I did a lot of research before choosing Denning Farms to make sure that we were making a responsible choice where the puppies and their parents were treated well. Tricia was very transparent in answering any questions we had. I love the fact that Tricia's kids are so involved with the pups/business, Pipp is so good with kids! We are so thrilled with our experience, highly recommend!

Tricia at Denning Farms seemed great when communicating with me back in January 2021. My parents had wanted another Yorkie Poo, as our previous dog (who passed in 2020) was purchased from Denning Farms. Our previous yorkie poo was perfectly healthy and happy and lived a good, long life. Currently, our new puppy is thankfully healthy and we’ve experienced no issues.However, we paid $2500 for a “yorkie poo” a dog that is meant not to shed (hypoallergenic). Our current dog from Denning Farms sheds constantly... When we told the vet he was a yorkie poo at his first check-up, he laughed in our face and said there’s no way, that “someone must have lied to us”. The paperwork Tricia provided stated that he was a yorkie poo but we suspect she provided false information or didn’t even know herself which breed he was. While satisfied with a healthy, loving, dog - we are extremely disappointed that Tricia took advantage of my parents and their desire for a new yorkie poo.After reading other reviews below, I can concur that after Tricia got our money, there was little to no contact. It’s clear that she just wanted to get paid. It took us a while to write this, as it’s hard to complain when others had worse experiences or even had sick dogs. However, I would not want this to happen to others so we wanted to speak up.

Tricia was wonderful to work with, and this is our beautiful Daisy Mae! She is such a joy. Wonderful with other dogs, well socialized, and is on to her second level of Obedience Training class. Excellent breeder, our friend had gotten a puppy a few years ago, and he was a wonderful dog, so we decided it was time for a puppy. The past year with our Daisy has been such a joy! She is our little angel, such a great dog!

I got my sweet little Teddy Bear pup from Denning Farms last December & it was the best decision I ever made. He’s extremely healthy, happy, energetic, & has the biggest personality. The process of purchasing him was smooth & Tricia is highly professional. She even sent us home with a little starter pack containing food, a toy, blanket, and plenty of helpful information along with all of his documentation. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We have purchased two puppies from Denning Farms. One is 4 and one is a puppy. We bought the second puppy because the first experience was a good one. I have had dogs all of my life. I have adopted them from shelters and I have purchased them from responsible breeders. Denning Farms is a responsible breeder. When I bring a new one home I am realistic. They get sick or sometimes have accidents. I can not imagine life without a dog as they are truly the only companions who really love you as you are. I am happy with my puppies and would buy again from Tricia.

I did a lot of research over the course of a year on dog breeds and breeders before choosing Denning Farms and it was well worth it. Tricia was incredibly responsive and helped us choose the perfect puppy for our family. Phoebe has been exactly what the doctor ordered. We couldn’t imagine a better addition to our family. **Updating this review: Prozac has made our pup just perfect. Just had to find the right calming med and make it through the puppy stage! So grateful for him and his breeder!** —Bought a Yorkipoo last year from Tricia. A year later, he’s in good health but has high anxiety.
