A bit pricy, but they take such good care of my three dogs. I love the report cards and the pictures the staff takes during boarding. They're great with matching dogs with the right play groups, and do a phenomenal job with my deaf canine, giving him the attention he needs and having his favorite toys for him to chase! The staff even got all three of my pups to play together, which doesn't happen often at home!

I've been a proud customer of Cedar Run for over 12 years. I trust them and think that they do an incredible job whenever I need to board my dog. I also think their daycare is the best in the area. The webcams are a great feature, especially when travelling and missing my furry friend. I love Cedar Run. They are the best.

I'm from the Des Moines area, and any time I visit Cedar Rapids or take a road trip to IL, I make sure to drop my Boxer off here. These guys are so great as he is more of a nervous nelly. The experience from the time you arrive to the time you leave is top notch. I love being able to see what he's up to any time as well by just looking at the cameras.

Our 15 year old girl Maddie has been boarded at Cedar Run #1 many times over her life. We just picked her up tonight after a weekend stay. I’ve been feeling so guilty about boarding her because of her age. She can no longer hear and can see out of only 1 eye. She has definitely slowed down a lot. I have to say that she seems so happy and has so much more energy after her stay! The pictures in her report card look like she was having a great time. I am so happy with the care and love our sweet girl gets at Cedar Run. Thanks for all you do, and for being flexible! 🐾🐶💗

Love the report cards they text to me after daycare. Has pictures of my dogs at play. They tell me who they hang out with during the day. And love I can jump on their Webcam and check on them throughout the day!!

We love taking our dogs here for both daycare and boarding. The staff is very friendly and our dogs always seem well taken care of and loved on. We love being able to check in on them via the webcams! Highly recommend!

LOVE this place! The facility is very clean and the staff is so sweet and helpful, you can tell they really enjoy their jobs. I have left my cat, Olivia, there twice now to board while I go out of town and they take great care of her! They send report cards and let her have time out of the kitty condo to stretch her legs, they even have a camera that can be accessed 24/7 in the cat room so I can check up on my fur baby anytime. I have never felt comfortable leaving my cat somewhere, afraid she would be traumatized by noise or neglect, but Cedar Run has completely squashed those doubts. For those looking to board your cat, this is a great place to go!

I live in Des Moines but needed to come to Cedar Rapids today because my father is in the hospital. I called this morning to see if by chance my little dog Bailey could stay with them today. They were so gracious and welcoming! Bailey spent the afternoon and when I tried to pay them, they said it was no charge! What lovely people!

Someone suggested this place to me when I first moved to Cedar Rapids for work 6 months ago. I am so glad they did! Cedar Run has been nothing short of amazing! Everything from their reservation process to their staff has been impeccable! The staff comes out to your car to grab your pet when you drop off and brings them out when you pull in to pick up. This probably spurred from COVID precautions but as a healthcare worker it's really helpful when you're always running on a tight clock! I picked up my dog just after closing time the other day and the staff was extremely gracious about it. I cannot say enough good things about them! My dog is always so excited to come here, and sleeps the night away after I pick him up! So sad that my job is taking me elsewhere because my pup will definitely miss this place!

Well run facility - our new puppy loved it there and was completely zonked when she came home. Signup was fairly simple and we were able to make a reservation online (they told us they take them by phone also). My wife likes the fact that she can pull up a video feed via a provided link and check on the dog throughout the day as well. Our only problem is that once she turns 6mo she won't be able to visit again until she is spayed.

I boarded my 8month old puppy Ryder here this weekend, her first experience. And I'm so happy! I've been watching her on the Webcam and it melts my heart to see one of the people hanging out with the dogs giving her attention and cuddling her on her lap. My puppy seems to be quite happy in this environment! Thank you to the people who work there and care for our fur babies!!

These folks have consistently been great with my dogs, even ones that have had behavioral challenges (kennel aggression and shyness). The built-in group play is fantastic, facility is nice, prices are reasonable. Cedar Run is my top pick in town!

We have been sending our 1st dog to Cedar Run for about 7 years. The staff is amazing, facility is perfect, and not too expensive. We now have 2 dogs, one young big dog and one small old dog. Whether its grooming or kenneling, each of their needs are met everytime. I highly recommend Cedar Run! ❤️

We've recently made the switch to Cedar Run. So far, it is the best daycare & boarding facility that we have been to yet. They have been very accommodating with short notice boarding and do a great job grooming our Husky. Being able to see our dog play throughout the day using their cameras is quite a benefit as well.

My dog is always so excited when she gets to spend time at Cedar Run! The staff is always friendly and helpful. We did the puppy training course and it helped get the basics for our sweet pup, and now we always bring her for daycare and grooming.

I can't recommend Cedar Run Boarding and Daycare enough. Our pup gets groomed here regularly, attends daycare and had been boarded a few nights. The staff truly loves him and are SO great to work with. To top it all off, we recently got married and the staff went above and beyond to help make our day extra special by helping us include our pupper. We <3 Cedar Run!

Cedar Run is great!! My golden retriever is shy and nervous around other dogs at first and Cedar Run did a great job making sure she was always in a comfortable environment. They really tried to get to know her and put her in situations where she would have fun with the other dogs. They also are so great about making me feel more comfortable as well and when I call to check in on her, they are always so willing and friendly about giving me a report. Highly recommend!

My 1 1/2 year old Golden Retriever Charlie just loves coming here whether it's for the day while we are at work or when we've needed to board him. He always looks so happy in the pictures, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.

I looked at a lot of reviews on doggie boarding places before picking this one. This is the place to use! They have cameras you can watch all day long if you want. They give you the absolute sweetest and cutest report card after we picked him up (including pictures!). Every time we looked at the cameras his tail was wagging up a storm. We’ll continue to use this place not only for boarding, but also just so he has a fun place to go play with other dogs. Really, if you are looking for a place for your pets, this is an awesome place. 5s all around.

Cedar Run has the best staff and they take great care of our 2 Chocolate Labs! Our girls always love going to camp. They also do a great job trimming their nails. I don't know how they get it done because there is no way one of our dogs will let us near her to trim her nails. Thanks for the great care Cedar Run!-Susie

Have tried a few other kennels in Cedar Rapids and this one is by far the best. Exceptional customer service and I trust them with my two small dogs. You can tell the employees enjoy working there and truly care about each and every dog. Highly recommended!

Our dogs favorite thing is spending time at Cedar Run. They love playing with the staff and other dogs. The staff is always friendly and there is always a personal touch to how they take care of your pets. Very trustworthy
