Most the time I love this Dollar General it’s better than the one I have in Ottumwa. But I have been trying to call today and I keep getting hung up on. All I wanted to do was make a call to let them know that I bought a buffalo style chicken salad with crackers and I got at home and forgot to look before I bought it but it is outdated as of today. So they do need to check their out dates.

This store has randomly been closed with no reasoning here lately. Today the lights were on and the doors were locked, during store hours.

Dollar general is like my second home! I swear I am in there every day. It probably helps I live right next to it. Great prices! Great products! Even greater, great people! My hometown Dollar general is the Best in the state of Iowa!

This store is dirty and the staff would rather stand around and talk instead of cleaning or stocking. Outside smoking or on phones. Outside the store and entrance is dirty . Need new management!!

Take the prices posted on the shelves for a grain of salt. They are never accurate and sometimes way off. Ice cream was 3.75 on the shelf and it ringed up 7.70...
