I shop at hyvee mostly, because the prices are better than the other store in town. Unfortunately, ordering on line I usually have some sort of problem. Being overcharged, not getting the right thing, etc. But I still prefer hyvee.

Staff was up front, stocking, I didn't want to use self check out, but employee never turned around. So I tried self checkout. Ended up having to call her over to help with an item. Think I wasted more time doing that ..than if I would have just called her over to check out. Peoples time..in morning before work....goes too fast... checkers are better than self checkout.

Hy-Vee is open on Sunday which is a plus for people who work 6 days a week. I went in and found everything I was wanting to purchase. Only problem I had I went there at the wrong time. It was very busy as people were getting their stuff after church.

So I apparently left my card there today... I know I'm so smart!😅 I received a message request from Michelle telling me she found it and put in customer service! I am soo happy she took the time to do that for me!! Shows really amazing customer service in my eyes!!!

I love this store. I can generally find what I need there at a reasonable price, even with today's inflation. What has kept me there us the consistently friendly people who work there, who are so helpful. They have catered to specific orders, fixed the occasional errors in a more than fair manor, and have been always ready to help find something or answer questions.

I usually only shop here when things are on sale. The store's not bad. The cashier leaves something to be desired. Not all of them, but some are just weird.

As someone who used to live not too far from this hyvee location, I don't miss it. Sure, I know a few people that may or may not still work there, but I will never go back to Harlan anytime soon. (And if anybody from high school stumbles upon this review, I hope you're doing well.)That being said, before moving, this place is always crowded and cramped, compared to the locations in other towns. It's a wonder that that this place is still in business. Then again, not a lot of options, unless you like to drive for 1+ hours just to get your groceries. 🤷🏼‍♀️ but that's none of my business.

This store is very clean, fast and helpful service. It is also one of our hometown grocery stores. After COVID hit they had a hard time getting their inventory refilled, they are a secondary store, bigger stores took priority. The store did its best to get the items customers requested.Today the store is back up to full capacity and they continue to provide the helpful service they always maintained.

Not a fan of Hy-Vee but I needed baked goods and Hy-Vee is great for that. Lots of choices and it's not stale. Otherwise I probably would not have stopped.

Always friendly staff that go above and beyond to help. Our local store is very involved in our community's local causes. I love the store's cleanliness and organization. They have excellent management and it shows.

I enjoy shopping at this Hy-Vee in Harlan. The employees are so nice, helpful and always working.I have not once seen an employer there just standing around in the 13 years of going there. I know just about everyone's name and always have a good conversation with them. I just think the world of this store. I also know where everything is at. Who ever reads this should be proud and honored to have these great people working at this store. Thank you.

Love the store. Pharmacy has been rude every time I've had to come here. This young kid just yelled at me for coming to check on my script to see if it was ready yet. Hate having to come here for the pharmacy.

Harlan Hy-Vee needs to have a better, fresher, selection of fruits and vegetables. The heads of lettuce were all very small and soft. There were many other items missing too.

Me and my husband always go here and the most recent time we went our cashier Roxanne P. was very very rude to he and I for no reason. We called to make a complaint and the manager said he would talk to her but we didn't even get an apology. Very disappointed.

Check your sell-by or expiration dates on perishable items. Bought a block of cheese 2 days ago and just now looked at the sell-by date which was 9/20/19. That's almost an entire month from today, 10/16/19. How do you let that slip by? Partly my fault for not checking, but you would expect a store to keep inventory current.

Really good attention to cart cleaning. It's really bad that Hyvee no longer offers to carry out groceries, especially to the handicapped, like me, using the electric carts. I'm forced to put my groceries in another cart to be able to get them to my vehicle.
