So glad this store is in town. (It is ridiculous to not have a Wal-Mart like most towns our size.)Even so, the employees work hard in very tight aisles. Ryan and the cashier helped with my FedEx package. They truly went the extra mile! Thank you! Dollar General and affiliates need to pay these workers well! —Karen Anderson

This week it was much cleaner than it has been recently. Noticed the clean floor. Was able to get everything on my list from vitamins to hair color to padded mailing envelopes (and other things) so didn't have to go out of town.

If need something its somewhere to get something, but when looking for something like really need meds or vitamins examples they dont keep it stock well. They always have stock bins on the end caps making it harder to push carts. I understand when short staff or so but to make better sells and more things need to change

This store rarely has what I want when I go in. If you find something once it will rarely be in stock when you want it again. In October there were more Christmas decorations out than Halloween. More than once I've driven to Avoca to their store. It is much better stocked and organized.

One star beause I can't give negative ones. I have been trying for a over a week to get wax paper. It is still out of stock. Or maybe it's still on one of the carts blocking the aisles. They have been out all week too yet the shelves go empty. Who is the manager and why do they still have a job? Carts in the aisles for many days are ridiculous. I also believe a safety hazard. I don't know how they get away with it. Where is the regional manager? Why aren't they nipping this in the tail.

The store was a bit unorganized and they were definitely out of most of the items I went to pick up. Customer service is always good. The employees are always helpful and polite.

Won't be returning again, I would rather drive to Denison or Council bluffs. Poor customer service still, and the staff doesn't know how to run the registers. The last three times I have gone in there the credit card machines weren't working and I don't carry cash, the lady in front of me this last time was returning an item and the guy on the register told her he didn't know how to do that so he tried to get a co-worker to help but she was outside and didn't want to leave her break so there was one clerk who didn't know how to do his job and at least 5 people in line with no credit line working. Again I will not be returning to this store.

Staff are friendly, but aisles are often crowded. Always busy, perhaps if they hired someone to focus on stocking it would help.

Its really cluttered. Hard not to run into things. Cardborad and stocking carts typically everywhere. But for the most part always has what you need and friendly staff.

No matter where you are out in the boonies, it seems like you can always find a DG! If your camping or far from a grocery or a WalMart you'll.... you'll be thrilled to stumble on a DG! For their size, they have a remarkable variety of groceries, tools, personal care item, and vacation supplies

Just went in to buy a phone charger and I picked one out that said 10$ ( I even took it from the back to be sure it was the same as the front ) and the price rang up to 16$ . When I told her that the price I found it was 10$ she was rude and said “ well they put them in the wrong spot “ . So y’all are running a store with prices that don’t match the product ? Bad way to run a store

It's a dollar general nothing extra slow check out and make sure they removed the security from socks tee shirt underwear they didn't on my items had to wait in line again to get them removed !!

Why does the Avoca store have a Veteran Day and this store doesn't.Store is getting better but has a ways to go putting merchandise away.

Oof.. this place is packed. Tiny aisles, lots of empty shelves, and inventory in boxes on the floor. Carries a lot of misc stuff you just need in a pinch though.

I hate this store, it is a total mess. You can't find anything, there are items on the floor, in boxes and crammed on the shelves. The people that work there obviously hate their jobs.

This dollar general is very good and has most everything I need when I enter the store. The employees are friendly and the store is layed out easily so I can find what I need immediately.

It's a close Dollar general that is conviniently located to have easy access and good hours for busy people. Keep this store going.

Generally busy, but very unorganized. Try stopping least as possible. It's normal to wait at the counter to checkout, and not always in line...just for someone to come to the front.
