Clean store, friendly employees! A crazy busy day before a blizzard, employees at the customer service desk were working together to check out customers with a smile on their faces. A great "all hands on deck" approach to customer service seen in this store. Nice to see!

I spent some time going through 3 large bins of Hot wheels without any problems & bought stuff for work lunch and even had 2 returns with receipts without any problems. Kimber was at the self checkout and was courteous & friendly.

One star!Literally Walmart doesn’t care about their employees. If you are sick you to come to work, even with Covid.The point system is joke, 5 marks and you’re fired. You have to wait 6 months to reapply.If you are sick, or have a family emergency you will get a mark each time that happens.They don’t care if you are sick or have a family emergency.My family member has to work for the next week with a sickness!The point system is the reason why no stays at Walmart.

locks front entrance 10 min early routinely staff are rude and follow you through the store telling you they close in 15min if you show up before Closing. no small town hospitality here

The people in customer service at this location are incompetent. I did a withdraw of $500 from my PayPal account to be picked up at customer service. There is a $3 fee to do this. So instead of getting $497 back, I asked if I could give 3 $1s so I could get the whole $500 in $20s. The cashier just looked at me stupid and said she could only give back what the register tells her. Like $3 plus $497 was too hard of a math problem for her.

I have used their pickup service many times and had only minor issues. Yesterday I went to pickup after work, I parked but did not notify them of my arrival as I needed to run in and grab something. I was inside at most 10 minutes. When I got in my car and attempted to notify them that I was ready for my pickup order, two employees approached my car. The first employee who was very young, started to chastise me that I wasn’t in my vehicle when they brought my order out. I asked why they did that when I had not notified them that I was ready. He continued to lecture me about how I was wrong. This was very insulting as I am in my 40’s and this was a child. Especially when it was not my mistake but theirs. I won’t shop there anymore. I will use another grocery store and will find somewhere else for anything else.

Looking for a remote garage door opener couldn't find it in the aisle the app said it was in Acton employee and I found it for me quickly and he was very polite.

Was very disappointed when I proved that something was mislabeled with a price and they will refuse to give me for the correct price I had to pay the amount that it rang up even though it was posted for $9

Small Walmart for a mid-size town. Not really a "Supercenter"; 1/3 of the overall store is focused on the grocery while all other departments are sacrificed, giving it that false perception.

This is a great Walmart because it is very trucker friendly. You can park your rig on Industrial way and no one will bother you. I always stop here when I go through Iowa because they have everything I need.

I like the centralized location of this Wal-Mart and am very impressed with the service that I have received from the team members at this location. I want to single out one team member especially: Kimberlee at the Customer Service Desk deserves huge Kudos from her supervisors. On my last visit, Kimberlee took the time to assist me with my every need and went above and beyond of what I believe is the standard. I always expect Outstanding Customer Service from any retail business however, this team member exhibited Exceptional Customer Service throughout the day. I believe that the example Kimberlee shows should be used as your Standard of Training.

Spent 9 months working here as a cashier but was discriminated against with having a brain injury and being permanently disabled. Pleaded for more hours with management, along with my vocational rehabilitation worker for 9 months until fired 3 days before Xmas with only a $14 dollar paycheck stating they didn’t need me as a cashier

Clean and no clutter, almost everything is organized. Employees are friendly and helpful, stop what they're doing to make sure you find what you want, will actually walk with you to it, no snapping like some of the other places.

Wonderful store with older feel. I miss the days when Walmart had this setup. Employees super helpful. Fast checkout, self checkout or traditional. Clean store. Did I mention the delightful, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. What a wonderful trip down memory lane where customer service was second and the customer themselves were first. I have never praised a Walmart, especially the employees, like this in a review. Well done folks. Awesome job. Clean store, well stocked, and amazing people make for an awesome shopping experience.

Had just got trigger point injections in my lower back, doctor told me to be careful because my legs could go numb. I try to use the motorized cart only to make it half way around the store and it went dead. This was warly morning like 9:30 am. An employee did help get me a regular cart to lean on while i walked because my legs were numb by this point. My husband and i get to register and the employee said that she didnt think they charged them at night lile they are supposed to because all but 1 of them was dead.

Great smaller store. Always good prices on meat. Markdowns are done in the morning, if you are there early you can get awesome deals on products nearing their sell by date. Unlike other grocery stores, Grinnell Walmart's clearance meats always look fresh, or are still frozen.This store has a nice selection of home goods and clothing.There are always cashiers available, and self checkouts working. They also have the large self check with conveyor so you can unload the whole cart.If you don't need the giant Walmart, this store is the best.

I do not rate people or businesses like this.The reason it's a 2 star and not a 1 star is that it was Christmas Eve, so I can understand why the employees I encountered in the Automotive area were surly.I have had a rough week getting ready to go to my mom's house I had 2 vehicles fail to work. This the first time my mom and I have gotten together in 12 years. I spent 2 days getting one to function properly. I was exhausted I still needed to change the oil. I also needed to get some last minute things as I had spent all of my time fixing a vehicle and without it I was unable to get my purchases made.Wal-Mart was open and for the first time ever I decided to have them work on my vehicle. That will never happen again.I arrived at the automotive area to find a group of people 1 mechanic, another employee, and two other people standing at the entrance to a bay area talking.I asked if I could get an oil change. The response was as I said surly. I was told it would be a 4 hour wait. I was told to park my vehicle by the building. Mind you there was no line of any kind. I asked if I could get an appointment or to be placed in a que. I was snapped at and told no when I asked if they were kidding. I was angrily given a litinay of reasons why that was impossible. To include, "All of these people who have come into bless us." That was the Female employee and I assume that the people were other customers including myself. It was at this point that I turned away saying that I would just do it myself.I do feel for the employees because it was Christmas eve, but honestly I do not think that I deserved to be treated like that.Thank you and Merry Christmas.

The people here at the pharmacy are over worked and under staffed. Still they stay cool and give great customer service. They were hustling but there was only one pharmacist. She was very busy too. Just need another one and they will be good. 3 stars for corporate 5 stars for the people.

Management is incompetent. No communication with the employees so that makes them incompetent as well. They don’t honor sale or discounted prices. Faulty advertising! If the price tag says something you by law should have to honor it! Mindy was the management I had to unfortunately deal with tonight. Moving forward if Kwikstar doesn’t have it, I will shop at HyVee or Target to get what I need.

The workers are very helpful, always willing to find something for you. Always checking on produce. I just wish they would get newer items in. I have lived here over 10 years and they have had the same thing in home decor, towels, bedding, pillows, cooking etc... for over 6 years, never going on sale or replaced with new items.

As for self check out, scan n go, or whatever you want to call it, I'm going to log my time for each visit and write it off on my taxes as volunteer work. But, I actually get out of the store faster then waiting for a cashier lane to open.
