It is a decent place. Nothing spectacular but I will say their muffins are pretty amazing though. Good small town local coffee shop. I don’t go much. I am not into all those fancy drinks. I used to go a lot more when I first moved to town years ago but haven’t been in months. I do miss their small drive through place they had. I did go there every other day and many times they had specials on drinks and often would get one for me and one for my son cause of that. So if anything I missed that the most.

Espresso is dialed in, and like most coffee shops.. be specific about your order.Great atmosphere, whether busy or quiet. Good space for students, parents, creatives and business types.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves the space, always has fun.

This is a great place to sit and enjoy a hot drink and read or do quiet work. The staff is always warm and friendly. I haven't had trouble finding a little nook to tuck myself into and work. It's such a pleasant place to spend a few hours.

My 2 friends and I walked in 5 minutes before closing and got Matcha lattes. The whole time the young lady who was working (blonde hair but I don't remember her name) was so kind, outgoing, friendly and helpful! More than I would have been if 3 people walk in 5 minutes before closing lol good Matcha, I love trying Matcha everywhere i go, even tho most of the drinks on the menu looked great. When I'm in the area again I'll definitely hang out longer and try more things! Thank you to the young lady who was working, you were incredibly gracious and reason enough to come back here! Thank you!

Fun coffee house, nice vibe. The employees were friendly and gave suggestions, were talkative and joking. We've been to this place twice when we've visited campus, and both times were great. Coffee is good, and oatmilk chai is good. They also have a vegan baker who brings in vegan goodies. The bagels were excellent too.

Coffee was pretty good. The barista was super friendly, and recommended a second shot for a stronger coffee. The place was filled with Grinnell students and a nice hangout for them to socialize. Jay's Deli was at the back serving fresh subs and some grilled options as wellFeatures: Mask sign was on at the entrance. However, people inside weren't masked including employees

Wonderful coffee shop. Large indoor seating area, very inviting atmosphere. My drip coffee was fantastic and so were the beans I got for home. The service was friendly. I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Have you ever had all your caffeine-related needs met? Well... I can sure tell you that Saints Rest does just that for all those who are intelligent enough to open the door and walk in. A local coffee shop like this is so much better in all aspects than those stupid Starbucks you see all over the place... Wait... I'm sorry... full disclosure I love Starbucks... but not as much as Saints Rest (But seriously... support local coffee). Sam Cox, who is the head honcho at Saints Rest, demands excellence... and that is what you will get. Grab your damn wallet and go buy some coffee from Saints Rest right now!

It is attached to a deli that serves amazing food as well. The baristas and owner are all knowledgeable and very outgoing and friendly. Sam the owner gets.to know her regulars and their likes and dislikes. She takes pride in making good espresso and coffee absolutely my favorite coffee shop around

What a fantastic place! Beautiful, perfect coffee house to hang out at and my Americano was wonderful!!! Glad that when I asked for "the best coffee house in town" when passing through that there was no hesitation. They said "definitely Saint's Rest!"

Got me an iced matcha latte with soy milk and a vegan pre-packaged peanut butter cookie. The matcha was delicious and they did well in fulfilling my request for less ice!! Friendly staff and calming ambience.

Delicious coffee and hot tea! I am a tea drinker and you know they have good tea when you get asked multiple questions! My husband loves coffee and when he does not have to add any sugar, he knows it good coffee! Lastly, don’t miss out of carrot muffin, delicious!

Saint's Rest is my single favorite establishment in Grinnell. The muffins are always a pleasure and fresh, and the coffees are good-- this isn't a "just enough" kind of place.I've always loved the atmosphere here. It's good for work or just relaxing with friends, or mingling with people you don't see often. The owner is also very friendly and the place works to fix things gone wrong. Small bathrooms in the back are clean but sometimes tough to get to.

I’m here on a Sunday and it’s super busy. The employees keep yelling at each other and I’m scared. They also yelled at their guests to pick out a muffin before they get to the front of the line. The coffee is pretty good though and it seems like a hip hangout spot in town.
