Overpriced mom & pop grocer in a mid-sized town. Its a nice looking small grocery store, but they charge 25-50% than what you can get 2.5 miles away at Walmart.

Grinnell's historic downtown grocery still fills the bill. Good selection of groceries for a small supermarket and an unusually good beer selection. Great historic photographs, and old delivery truck, and a friendly staff.

McNally's is a staple in Grinnell. A beautiful building, great selection of goods, coffee, deli. And did I mention the people? Always friendly and helpful. I think Randy is looking down with pride, thanks to Julie and her team. Thank you!

The only thing my family misses about Grinnell was the pleasure of living across the street from McNally's foods. The staff are a delight, they always seem to have what we need and then we discover new delights here. Try your best to ignore the heinous mural on the outside. The inside is charming.

Ate a simple lunch of chili pig in a blanket. It was delicious. Service was great. Staff very friendly. Dining area clean and unencumbered! Strongly recommend.

I was there to sell Girl Scout Cookies and they were very nice to let us set up there. While there I saw a section of prepared food. The chicken pot pie caught my eye so after we were done I purchased it for my supper. Wow was it good! Thank you

Grinnell only has a couple places you can eat at for lunch quickly. With only a 30 min lunch break McNally's can get you in and out before your boss starts tapping his foot. Wednesdays are ham balls and Fridays the salmon is top choice. The "upper class" atmosphere makes even my low class factory workers and I give two pinkies out for approval at lunchtime. I'm sure if you are a doctor at the hospital or a spoiled collage brat, it's the only place you would get your groceries.

This is an amazing specialty store. The staff is always friendly. Their food is great and they have a nice variety of Vegan, Gluten free, etc foods. Along with a amazing selection of wines, beer, cheeses and alcohol. A have to experience.

A wonderful grocery to have in a small town. Organic produce and groceries as well has made in store salads, sandwiches, and deserts. There is also a good collection of responcible body care products by some of my favorite brands.

While I originally gave them a 5-star review, several bad experiences have entirely soured my opinion. On two separate occasions I bought fresh items from their deli, only to return home and realize there were over a month past their sell by date. Most recently, I purchased a cake portion that upon opening an hour after buying it had small molds spots on it.While I should have checked more carefully, there is absolutely no excuse for leaving "fresh" items on sale for weeks after they legally should be. Won't be back.

Small grocery with an eclectic mix of international, homemade, organic, and vegan foods. They carry a large variety of alcoholic beverages. They also serve lunch and post what will be served on Facebook each day. This is an upscale grocery. Staff is always polite and friendly.

McNally's has a truly awesome lunch counter in the back corner. The Cajun pasta is great, filled with seafood and meat, and the chicken pot pie has a really nice crust. Next time I will try the pig in a blanket because the hot dog and breading look so nice.

This is a great store. So many specialty items. And they carry items, food items that are actually real food. If you'd like to take back control of your diet, and live healthier, this is the place to start here in Grinnell.

A unique grocery store that offers a wide selection of organic, gluten free items along with locally grown produce. They also make their own fresh sandwiches, salads and desserts. When i am in Grinnell, I like to come here to grab a healthy bite to eat while I camp out for a bit and use the WiFi in their dining area. Very relaxed atmosphere and great customer service.

This is the best small town grocery store around! They have a good selection of local, organic, and interesting products, if a small fresh foods section. They also have a meat counter and a large selection of national and international wines and liquors.

Just a quaint grocery store/ deli. Very comfortable and friendly people working there. Good for picking up a couple things, but do to prices, I wouldn't want to do any major shopping there. But love it there nevertheless!😀

Wonderful small neighborhood, family owned grocery store with diverse stock of standards & specialties. And a great lunch stop for the featured menu or a grab & go deli item.
