They were amazing with our pups, even after we had some potty mishaps due to excitement and boy were they excited! The shop is super nice and the staff was very helpful. It was affordable and our dogs looked amazing and even topped with a bow, not to mention the time it took was fast and efficient! They are definitely our permanent groomers from now on! Best they have ever looked!

*WARNING PICTURES POSTED BELOW*EDIT TO ADD: Hair of the dog GrinellI’m not one to bash businesses on Facebook because I do believe mistakes happen; but I am going to make a clear point. If you hurt a dog in anyway, shape, or form as a groomer that leaves my mom paying a very large vet bill & her dog getting multiple stitches on her neck I do think you should have some sympathy as a business owner & pay for that large vet bill. They said my mom signed a form stating that if anything happened she was to pay for it at her own expense, but the form stated these exact words “all precautions will be taken, however problems occasionally arise, during or after grooming, such as nicks, clipper irritation and mental or physical stress”My mom marked the line that she herby grant permission to this grooming establishment to obtain emergency vet treatment for my pet at my own expense”My issue is this is NOT JUST a nick this is a 7 inch long CUT on her neck!! That now my mom has large vet bills to pay for after she just had foot surgery herself!!I have no sympathy for this business as this looks no where near an accident by any means

Have nothing but high praise. They do a fantastic job with our golden retriever. I know he’s not the easiest cause he’s a in your fave type of dog. But they do a fantastic job with him every time. Couldn’t be happier.

Hair of the Dog takes the best care of my dogs. My oldest dog can be a bit testy and other groomers didn’t have patience and charged us a naughty dog fee. Matt and Nikki have been the absolute best at calming him and getting him groomed. No cares more for the dogs they groom. Their place is always clean which is a must for me. I realize there are other reviews out there but dig through the weeds and get to know them yourself. You will NOT be disappointed!

My dogs absolutely love coming here and are so proud of the hair cuts when I pick them up. Nikki and Matt also take so much care to cut our doodles the way we want so that they don’t look like poodles. They are amazing! I could not recommend them more!

I used to think this was a decent place to go, but I will never return, and I will spread the word about this places morals, ethics, and how they handle their own mistakes. To injure an animal to the extent that was done (a giant gash on their throat that required numerous stitches) and then not even make a statement, to remove comments and reviews, and try to bury it instead of own up, admit there was an accident and fix it is absolutely repulsive and incredibly unprofessional. Being careless enough to harm a dog in such a way that risks their life, and then hiding it? Seems suspicious. I will be taking my business elsewhere from here on out.

Not taking responsibility and not paying the vet bill for a 7 inch long cut on a dogs neck resulting in stitches that happened in your business is awful. You deserve the one star reviews you're getting.

This groomer hurt a dog so bad it needed stitches, as it had a 7 inch laceration on its neck!! It could have died! And the groomer refused to pay any of the vet bill. This place needs to be shut down, asap! If they are cutting and hurting dogs this bad, what else is happening to animals in their care?!

Not my own experience, but when I see a business not take responsibility for grooming someone’s pet and they end up having to get stitches because of a 7 inch gash under its neck , is clearly not a nick anymore! Step up and do the right thing!

I love taking my dog there. She gets so excited whenever we pull up because she knows she is going to get a ton of treats. Hair of the Dog has a variety of things available and if they don't have it Cheryl is great about trying to find it or recommending something. Everyone is super friendly that works there.

I love taking my dog to Hair of the Dog!! As soon as we pull up he is so eager to get inside because they treat him like a king. He’s happy with the treats he gets for being there, and I’m happy with how he looks when we leave. 10/10 recommend!
