Our sweet 3 year old cat had bladder stones and had to have 2 surgeries.We are so thankful for St Francis Veterinary Care for giving him the BEST care. I highly recommend them for your pet needs They kept us in the loop multiple times a day and also let us come in to visit whenever we wanted which was much needed. Plus they were affordable! We are switching all our vet care to them!

My dog Mable went to see Dr. Alison at St Francis to get her caught up on vaccinations and to have a pre spay exam done. Autumn and the vet were very friendly and Mable LOVED all their attention. Gretchen was very helpful when I called with any questions. We are very happy with the care she was given!

The gals at St. Francis Veterinary Care were great when I brought in our kitty that has been off and on insulin dependent as a walk in even though they were pretty booked. They let me know the options for diagnosing the recent trend of high or low and were able to do a quick blood test to confirm the need for a slightly higher dose. They also were able to order a diabetic support food and got it in stock very quickly for me to pick up.I'll definitely be going back with our other kitty and any future pets as they are prompt and professional but also very caring of the well being of the furry family members we come to rely on and sometimes take for granted until they are ill.

Highest praises for Dr. Alyson & the St. Francis Veterinary Clinic. Our young Jack Russell Terrier became seriously ill so took him to St. Francis where he was diagnosed & received excellent care with IVs in their Vet Hospital. They are very caring & highly knowledgeable. Would highly recommend their Clinic.

The staff is incredible! They helped us with an emergency situation for our dog and were so kind and caring. Our dog ended up passing away, and they were so kind to us. They explained what happened as it was unexpected. We have a new puppy now and have switched to them for all our new puppy's care! Highly recommend!

Dr. Allison helped find affordable solutions for our itchy, aging pets. Her team was incredibly kind, and the vet tech (sorry, I missed her name!) Was very personable with me and my pets. The cost was reasonable, which definitely helps, and she had many possible solutions to offer. Good experience!

My cat had stopped using the litter box off and on and going various places in my home. They got me in same day and with the long hair my cat has, there was some shaving that had to be done. The entire staff is caring, loving and gentle. My cat usually doesn’t like people except me, so to have her snuggled in the arms of the vet tech was amazing to watch. The one thing that scares me a bit is there is no fence on the busy side of the road if a pet would happen get away. Not a complaint, a suggestion. Love you all for helping my kitty!

I was looking for a new vet and I found Saint Francis vet care in Grimes iowa. The doc is extremely intelligent and knows her stuff. And yet she is still open to listening to us pet parents. I was so impressed that I have referred five of my friends to her with all of their pets.

We switched from a vet clinic in Johnston over to St. Francis and we are extremely happy we did. Dr. O’Grady and her staff take great care of our dog and do it for a very reasonable price in my opinion. They even made it easy to switch our records from our old vet to them. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Took my aging cat (17yo) for a wellness check and discuss options for arthritis while maintaining her hyperthyroidism diet. Dr. O’Grady was attentive, listened to my concerns, and discussed options for the long-term wellbeing of my feline sidekick. My cat was comfortable and made herself right at home while we were waiting to wrap up her treatment plan.Edit: I've now adopted a kitten. They have helped me make sure to have the old cat on appropriate food and accommodate a young cat's nutrition needs. They are very personable, knowledgeable, and caring.

She put our 2 yr old Golden Retriever on steroids for allergic reaction.????Took him back in few days because he wouldn't stop panting & told her he was alsocoughing some & she said it was side effect of steroids which had made him worse.Told us firmly to IGNORE IT.Also told her his gums were too pale & he wasn't eating much.She knew he had previously been hospitalizedNever told us he needed emergency care, Said he would be fine .He continued to pant until he fell over dead that night... As we were getting ready to go to Blue Pearl emergency. If she would have told us how critical he was would have gone to Emergency clinic immediately.That is why we went to her to see if he needed critical care !!! His pulse was also 130 which we didnt know was dangerous.Your response is all lies & you never tried to contact me in any way. Brady layed down for few seconds because he was exhausted from panting.He would be alive if we would have taken him to Blue Pearl that morning but trusted you to tell us thats what he needed.I asked for his medical report after he died & you wrote on it we wouldn't take him to Blue Pearl because of cost.We NEVER discussed anything about cost of his treatment with you.We had already spent over $6000 .. Would never had quit trying to help him. He had just turned 2 & was my second emotional support dog.I believe if you would have been honest & not told us to ignore panting he would be alive. It is not your job to ignore an animal needing emergency treatment because you assumed we wouldn't or couldn't afford it..We treated him same as we did out children and cost NEVER was considered a reason for treatment !
