I actually love some of the people at this location that work here. There’s just one worker that seems to not want to serve black guest. The times that she has had to serve me. She’s had such an inappropriate attitude. I’m not quite sure her name but today is April 10 I went in there around 5:45 in the afternoon there were two registers her, and then a young gentleman. The gentleman was busy completing transactions and had two black people in line. Me and and older Gentlemen, She was just standing at the register, not doing anything, but would not take us on her register then, when the both of us Were served because someone else had to jump on a register because she would not. She offered to take the two white guest that were behind us, but then could not service them, because they were paying with cash when me and the gentleman before me were both paying with cards so she could’ve taken us, but we weren’t even asked as a courtesy………..

A good place for fuel, grocery items like milk and meat, snacks, take-home meals, and the traditional morning coffee and donut.As with other Kwik Star locations, the store is clean and the staff members are friendly and helpful. A variety of convenience items and snacks are available, along with many beverage options.

As a rule I love Kwik Star, but this one is a hot mess, and has been for the better part of a year. They often have mostly empty food warmers. Even during peak times. On more than one occasion I've asked how long it will be before an item is out, and they can't even seem to locate the kitchen staff. It's also common to have too few or zero clerks at the counter. I recently had to wait a surprising amount of time for a single employee to come out of the back to ring up my purchase. Kwik Star, if you're reading this, you seriously need to fix this store!

It is the worst Kwik-Star, but only because it is filled with incompetent workers who have no training and speak to you in a condescending way when they screw up. I think the real issue lies with the store manager, who probably did not receive good training or support. Either fire the store manager or train them properly, for god's sake! This was the third and final time I used this location. This is the third time in three attempts to buy gas from them that they messed up putting the authorization on a pump. They act like I am the idiot, but honestly, this only happens with them, like every time I have been here. I am not made of money, and when they steal my money and don't give me gas, I can't pay them a second time as they have my money. I have to sleep in my car tonight because of their incompetent behavior, and I am unable to go home or to work until they decide to give me my money back!

This place has really grown over the past several months. They have a huge selection of hot and ready food, and also meals you can take home and heat up. I love their chicken! Their grocery selection is good too, with meat, veggies, fruit, and dairy items at really low prices. There is a great drink selection, including a walk in beer cooler. And they make it really convenient by offering shopping carts.Their gas is usually the lowest in the area, and the car wash offers soft touch or touchless options.

This location’s employees take pride in having a great location! They are super friendly every time I have stopped in (which is almost once a week since they opened). BUT today I saw something that was over the top when it comes to having pride in your workplace. There was an employee sweeping outside to clear the side walks and moving trash cans in order to get it sparkling. Then when I got inside…. There was (whom I assume to be a manager) am employee on her hands and knees cleaning the dirt buildup in the tiles out of the doorways. Kudos to you for going above and beyond!

I’m so thankful for the employee’s here at kwik star!! My car wouldn’t start after filling up with gas, my battery had died, I went back into the store, and the employees didn’t hesitate…and immediately they bought some jumper cables off the store shelf, and then the employee went out and got his own personal vehicle, and jumped my car!!! I am so very GRATEFUL!! They saved my family so much time and money!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU for going above and beyond!! 🤗

One of the best gas stations I've ever been to. They always have fresh chicken or pizza when I go there for lunch. They also have products no one else does. Faygo soda or edible cookie dough bites. Not to mention the rewards program is pretty good. It has lots of flexible rewards.

DAAAAAAAAAYUM! I got the chicken strips in a box and it was like a meat massacre. There was so much chicken that there was barely room strips. Also the guy at the counter helped me get dipping sauce! So good!

I have always loved Kwick Star. I love the chicken, deserts and the soda is never flat. Hamburger and summer sausage is my daughter's favorite. I go in every chance I get when I'm going through to Des Moines. After the accident that happened, I'm really glad they gave me the chance to make things right. I feel like it was a duh moment. My husband had surgery on Friday. I was physically and mentally running on empty on Sat when the incident happened. I'm glad they undersood. They were actually very friendly about it and not making me feel worse. If you need a quick snack, prefixed meal, or just a decedent soda, stop in. The people are awesome and very friendly. If you ask where something is, they will show you where it's at.

Employees are great as is the store. Car wash is awful. Left suds all over the back of my car. Paid for the top wash with under carriage, didn't do it. The light dirt from a gravel parking lot was left untouched.

So much more than a convenience store. The milk in the bag is such a wonderful bargain. 2 half gallon bags of 2 percent for $2.68 compared to a gallon jug of 2 per cent for $3.53 at WalMart. Bananas, potatoes and onions are always $.39 lb. Amazing pastries and egg rolls. My newest go to !!!

Any time gas prices spike, this location intentionally shuts off their gas price signage/billboard in order to hide it.

Yes, I too got the dreaded car wash and it was a joke. It left tons of suds on everything, not to mention it was one of the most terrifying experiences driving into that chaos letting jesus take the wheel and stuff... Whew lawd have mercy!!
