My all time favorite gas station. Great coffee, great staff and stores are always clean. I love their car washes, and matter of fact, probably the best touchless wash in the Des Moines and surrounding suburbs, but my only complaint is wishing they would do an affordable monthly carwash club. That's my only reason I gave it 4 stars. Let's get that figured out please and thank you!

I came in running 15 minutes behind schedule. An employee named Jack helped me find right what I was looking for in a matter of seconds. Probably saved about 5 minutes because of him. KwikStar truly does offer great service. 5 stars from me.

Being a transplant from Wisconsin I was super excited to see these stores start to pop up around the Des Moines area. (When i moved here the nearest one was in Waterloo!) I have been a loyal Kwik Tripper for over 35 years and have seen this company grow and more importantly improve. The Grimes location on Beaverbrooke does not disappoint. Clean, well run, friendly staff, awesome prices. Beats the heck out of the Caseys in my small town where I live. Had a hard time getting used to the Kwik Star name, but well worth the 20 minute drive to get gas and avoid Caseys. Happy to see they are building one in Perry, even closer to home!

A good store with much more than just fuel and traditional convenience store items. You can get several kinds of groceries here, from milk and dairy products to meats, fruits, vegetables, bread and baked items, as well as take-home meals ready to heat and eat. The staff members are generally friendly.

Love Kwik Star! TOP TIER GAS (Best Rating for gas). Store like true mini grocery, prices reasonable, baked good awesome & fresh. Car wash excellent. Employees super friendly and helpful.

I live next to the location off Oralabor in Ankeny, Iowa. This store opened about one week ago, and I am very impressed! Kwik Star Gas Station is unlike any other gas station. They offer more than just “gas station food”. The employees are kind, helpful and ready to meet customers’ needs. Kwik Star is definitely my new gas station!

I love this store and it's products. But I can no longer give my endorsement. Numerous times now prices displayed have not matched up at checkout. Deals and coupons have not registered. And this morning..... no cream in the "cream filled" long John's. Still my favorite gas station in Grimes, but aforementioned maladies prevent me from rating 5 stars.

i go to this kwikstar AT LEAST once a day because i work next to it. lemme tell ya, the people who work here are absolutely incredible human beings. some of the kindest people i've ever met and i leave with a smile every time. i've gotten sweet compliments from several of the employees and it makes my day every time. these people are great with customers and great at their jobs. i seriously love this place and the people that work here. (referring to the grimes location off of NE beaverbrooke)

A shining example of how to design a small convenience store. Kwik Star is the Iowa-named version of Kwik Trip (based in Wisconsin). Along with the fuel, the store provides carwash, groceries, beverages, bakery, and clean bathrooms (including a family bathroom with changing table). Their Cafe Karuba coffee is very good for a quick cup on the go. Be sure to join the Kwik Rewards program which offers deals, coupons, and rewards for every 15 visits.

I would give this place negative stars if I could the way I see the upper management and lead coworkers treating they're mental and physical disabilities coworkers like crazy when they can't keep up or have a mental issue they cut they're hours to "help them out " and not give them the help they need
