Today, 4/25/24 at 4:50 pm at Love's, this woman was behind me waiting into pump 23Plate # ‏FV8363‏ for truck, Trailer # 19001board buttoms numbers were stuck. i can't press numbers to enter my info. I want inside to tell them there are problems. I can't press bottoms ? They told me after fixed go try again I did but still I can't use them so took from me time to finish processing and my truck it's was almost empty this took time, So I heard this woman using bad language, talking to me, screaming, opening the truck door, using bad language, and sticking her head out of the truck window did middle finger alot bad words to me ، I am confused how such a woman can drive a truck and not be able to control herself from anger , i tried to remain calm and composed. It's best to avoid escalating the situation. I had to go inside the store to get a receipt to avoid her , Anyways I am sure that she is not a professional driver and has no patience or self-control. I suggest that she take a course in dealing with people

Barr Nunn Transportation really appreciate you as a driver. I left 2 years ago for other opportunities local at the time and they offered me local but I stayed with the company I was with. They still kept in contact with me even when I didn't return phone calls etc. Now, I'm happy to say I'll be returning back and this is for the long haul. The recruiters are really there for you if you tell them what you want and they will do their best to give it to you. Out of all the OTR companies out there and I've been with plenty, they are the best fit for drivers that recognize and rewarded for their safety and hard work.

They lied to get me to orientation, they set up a room and a rental for me. When I didn’t get the position, they came to the hotel and took the keys and told me they would give me 60 dollars to get back to Philly (from Manchester, Pa) on the bus. They even charged me for tolls that I got because of driving to orientation in the rental they sent. I have my own car and ez pass. I spent 3 days there filling out paperwork, watching videos and I passed the road test. I missed 4 days of work because of them and they said I won’t be paid for the 3 days I spent there, which was supposed to be 1200, according to the recruiter. They try to play dumb when I call. The entire situation was handled as if they were scam artists. What company pays for a rental and hotel room b4 they even receive your background check results as well as the drug test results. They’re extremely sneaky and you definitely can’t trust them

Drove for them for four months in 02, had lunch with the founder (Bob) twice and i brought up them shorting miles they just made excuses. Had to leave because I was taking home a thousand dollars less a month then I was making at my previous company. No miles and what miles I got they shorted them. I found out later they got suede for shorting miles. They also put a no rehire on my dac which I had to explain to potential employers.

Best move I ever made! Make about $900(take home) on average every week. They keep me busy and the team leaders and are there to help me 24/7. Late model tractor and very little trailer issues. This company is not for everyone. If you want sit in the truck stop then this place may not be for you. If you want to make money and do it safely then give it a try. A few small gripes like the television I was promised in the ad(?) and the 2018 Cascadia has no Smart Idle. Other than those items the company is EXACTLY as promised and then some. 401K plan with matching, healthcare and so many perks I can't mention them all here. It all depends on if you want to work or not. Be safe and drive smart.

They are not the top paying, like they claim to be , they are very unprofessional and can not take criticism also the safety is a bunch of so called old time truck drivers that driving record is poor. I ask the Safty guy in Columbus ohio if his driving record was better then mine and he got offended and proceeded to get me fired, but I had already quit and cleaned my truck out needless to say he never said he had a better driving record lol 😂 that’s because my driving record is as clear as a Whistle. Don’t let them intimidated you and make you feel like you’re beneath them or talk to you any kind of way , they treat driver like the dirt , you can do better and find better and be treated better with respect.

A company I do not regret coming too. Average $1,500 to $1,800 a week without even hitting 3,000 miles. My dm always make sure I get paid for what I do, and I return my appreciation by providing great service.

Throughout the years I heard good things about this company but I did hear a few minorities say they were racist. I don't know if that's true or not but I'm questioning it now due to my experience applying with them. I have about 28 years of experience with no points on my license, and the 2 Because there are many trucking companies hiring but there are other excuse when I questioned it was that the company I just quit from wasn't confirming my employment times. As I told them my pay stubs can prove that and what do you expect? I just quit, and they're upset and they're not going to jump when you say jump. So now I'm questioning whether those few minorities were correct?

If you do right by them they will do right by you. You go the extra mile and they will also. Simple as that. Worked for this company close to 2 decades. Retiring 07/20/2021 Trucking is trucking. It is not easy. Barr Nunn offers top pay, polite team leaders and makes it as easy as possible for what it is. Top of the line. You must be also.

I've worked as a driver for Barr Nunn for five years now. 4 years as a lease operator, and a year before that as a company driver. I can say with some confidence that I will be with Barr Nunn for the rest of my career. The pay is some of the best in the industry, the people in the office know your name, not your truck number. When I call I always get an answer day or night. And they keep you rolling. If I do a 34 on the road it's because I choose too. and they get me home when I say I want to be home.

It's OK they're not Going to give you a lot of miles. They say they pay you a lot but they cut your miles to a point where does not make any difference. And then when you asked for more miles they tell you to go to a different company.

I've had a good experience in the 11-year I've been with Barr Nunn. They are an excellent company and treat you right if you treat them right if you're good to their customers and your professional you will have a good career with them as well.

They promise you 8 to 9k miles a month I didn't even get close to that they also say drivers average 1500 a week I got that one week after that it was about 1100 a week so don't believe the hype

Can't complain about this company. Gets ya home on time, gets you steady miles and pays better than most general commodity carriers. Only way to leave is to hang up the keys, you won't find a place better
