I mean, atmosphere was alright, its just classic Iowa diner scene. We had the rib special, which was pretty good. Service was great considering the waitress was waiting on a whole funeral party....Salad bar could be way better...

We decided to try out here's 2 U in Fredericksburg, Iowa tonight to check out their fish fry. They have a very nice soup and salad bar with lots of different salads to choose from. My husband tried their two-piece fish dinner and said it was good. If you need something to do during Lent check out here's 2 U.Good chicken strips!

So we went into the diner having a great experience. Today, when we got our drinks, my water tasted and smelled like chemicals. After we got our drinks, our waiter never came back to ask us what we wanted to eat. After half an hour of waiting with my chemical flavored drink, we paid for our drinks and left without being noticed.

So upon entry of the business I noticed an old smell, not food like. Waited at the front for a few minutes without any direction so we sat ourselves in the one booth they have. The booth had the appearance of cushions but the cotton had been completely destroyed from years of being sat on. Finally a waitress came over with our menus and we asked for water. When she returned with the water I could taste the chemicals from the dishwasher on the cup.So we asked about some of the menu items and the special items and one of the specials was more expensive than the same choice on the menu so clearly there's a disconnect there. We asked about the "pizza burger" and she said " it's from the freezer and I wouldn't eat that" so she doesn't know how to sell.I was given "salad bar" which consists of iceberg lettuce, tuna/chicken salad and dinner rolls. All of the containers still had the sulifane from when they took it out of the fridge. Judging by the condition of the dinner rolls I can only imagine that the tuna/chicken salad had been made several weeks ago.While waiting for the food I looked around the restaurant and saw that several chairs and tables had seen better days.I order the boasted chicken and asked for two white pieces and got a breast and a wing. The chicken was so dry it made me sick because I was forced to drink the chemical flavored water.Over all its a literal dump and I'm uncertain how they haven't been shut down by the food and health administration.

A little place on the outside, surprisingly big on the inside,great staff, good food. Was there for a party, most tender roast beef I've had in a very long time. You can tell when a smaller town bar takes pride in what they serve, they take pride.

We were there due to a sporting event in town. My boys ordered chocolate shakes and they were out of syrup. The owner over heard, left and came back with some without our knowledge. Great service great atmosphere!

Order 3 burgers all dry and really small. Plus I got sauteed mushrooms and they look and tasted like they came straight out of the bun and onto my bun. The combo platter everything was super hard. Won't be coming back nothing like the one in sumner! Don't come here go the the other one!

It's a really nice place to sit down for a meal and they have a good broad menu and they always have some specials going on. They are good at giving service and keeping the place looking nice and clean

The food is so-so but what got my poor rating is the staff. The staff don't seem to know what they're doing or care if they do it or not. They do however care if you don't tip them after you receive poor service.

Poor fryer food quality, do not conform to covid restrictions, dirty, expensive, hair in food, portion size was small for the combo platter for its price, the mustard bottle was very dirty with hand grime on it.
