The store manager Diane is the best. She works so hard, even sacrificing her days off to ensure her customers have the correct prices and items available. The staff works hard and are in desperate need of help. (What DG isn't in desperate need of help?) If you ever need a person in charge that will help you with an issue, just look for Diane, Courty, Kelly or Jeff and you'll ne in good hands.Freshly remodeled and now offering fresh veggies, fruits and meat. A larger cooler section was added to offer more variety of ice cream, yogurt, sour cream, lunchables and more.More ways to check out, not only do you have 2 cashier check out stations but 4 self check outs have been added. 2 are cards only and the other 2 are cash or card.

If you want people to shop there and enjoy it why don't you bring your carts in I am a disabled 56 year old woman with back problems and knee problems and I have to carry dog food and cat food and groceries around with me in the store. Why not one cart inside ever? I can't stop there no more my body just will not handle it

Not always the cleanest place town but for those of us who live nearby it is a true treat. Products are easy tie find. Shelves are well stocked and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Dollar General usually has a pretty decent selection for decent prices. This store was no different (except for the outrageous price of $20 for a simple HDMI cable, which was the reason I stopped, but refused to pay for). This was also the first dollar store I've ever seen that sold alcohol, if that is something you are looking for.

Its dollar general.Now that shop ko is gone it's the new hot spot for toilet paper and testing grounds for teen age shoplifters. You dont need a review to know what you have to look forward to when you enter the store

Always a fun stop. Always a clearance aisle that needs checked out. Went in for Pepsi deal and left with winter socks that were on sale. A win win tonight and easy in easy out. Thanks DG. Here is a winter picture of the new DG in West Point, IA.

From groceries to household items to clothing and over the counter medicines this is a One Stop shopping place that has something for everyone. Employees here are cordial, however they could use more of them to cover the amount of customers.

There are 2 in Fort Madison. The west side store is definitely cleaner than the east side store.
