I bought some gold fish for my pond. Ended up with a leak in the liner and had to move them inside today. Not only did they sell me some great fish they were healthy and grew larger while in the pond. I would buy more from them.ThanksScott

Dirty tanks, maggots, dead crickets and mold in a tree frog display. Dead fish in multiple tanks that look like they haven’t been cleaned in some time. I wouldn’t recommend getting anything due to conditions, anything you do purchase will probably have an infection. Really sad to see the conditions and should be cruelty.

Wife got me a Russian tortoise there very healthy and happy turtle. We get all our fish from them and best part my daughter can feed the koi as I look around lol. Great store

Guy inside knows his stuff and has a good stock. Whether it's reptiles or fish this is the best place to go for anything you don't feel like driving an hour and a half to des moines for.

I got a bearded dragon from here and when I brought it home it was very skinny and looked barely fed. The bumps on the head are supposed to be prominent but on the one I got you could barely see them. I chose between the one I got and another one who looked to be barely alive. The one I got compared to the one I’ve had for maybe a month is just horrible.

Found the most exquisite grouping of Black Moors I have ever seen at this store. Then, I was surprised by such a very decent price! THANKS SO MUCH TOM!!! They’re AMAZING!!! Supplies at The Fish Room are significantly more economical than other area pet stores. If I need something, I check here first before going somewhere else. I trust The Fish Room to provide quality pets and supplies. They really know their fish health. They’re the best around!

I went in here because I didn't want to drive to ames for fish, this man takes real good care of his fish, all the fish I've ever got here haven't died, the fish I've gotten in commercial stores like pet smart, they've all died and they were all sick apparently. But he gives really good advice and he helped me figure out what's wrong with my fish tank, he also had duckweed last time I went there. A lot of places don't have it but he did which I thought was pretty cool lol

I have bought two bearded dragons, and an Asian house gecko from here. They are all still alive and in good health. They are taken care of at the store and they make sure to fill you on on everything you need to know to maximize the life span of your reptilian pets! I 100% will buy from here again and I will probably go get another reptile soon. The service is excellent and if your not happy about something, they will do their very best to help you out.

Great selection of fish and frozen fishfood. The owner was very nice towards my kids. The kids loved feeding the big koi fish. This place definitely meets my aquarium needs!

I have always like the fish store , but as of late I have gotten fish and they die in 24 hours. I am careful taking them home. I flot them in to the tank and all. Not very happy. Think I am going start getting my fish else where.

Stopped by here on my way to back home nebraska. Father and son shop. They mostly focus on saltwater fish and then they have a small selection of saltwater stuff. Prices are good, much cheaper than petco or petsmart, and comparable to amazon prices or cheaper.I got myself a Black Orchid Betta and instant ocean. They had some other cool fish too. Like pea puffers and whatnot.
