Jim, is my favorite. He always greets you with a smile and warm greetings. He is number one in my book. Thanks Kwik start for employing an amazing staff member. I love stopping at this Kwik Star food is always fresh and the store is always clean. Matt is another good egg for this place. He always makes sure his guests are taken care of. If anyone needs something he makes sure their needs are met. He takes pride in making sure everyone leaves happy. Again, way to go Kwik Star! You have an amazing group of folks helping keep us returning when we are in town.

I do like my Kwik Star's. Usually always clean & most items always on-hand. They could improve some soup flavors. Choices on hot food abound but few stand out. All in all, I think there certainly the best choice for gas/convenience stores in Iowa and anywhere you have one located!

Honestly the best Gas station I’ve been to in my entire life, the customer service is through the roof, the prices are amazing on the food. Chic-Fil-A has nothing on this store with customer service.

I love Kwik Star. I look for them in my travels. This one did not disappoint and was as awesome as every other that I have visited. Friendly workers, decent food, clean restrooms. What else could a weary road warrior ask? Well… awesome bake goods. Samples if you hit the right time if day. Cheap bananas. Check! This place rocks.

It’s a gamble every early morning with what food is out, if there even is any! Efficiency doesn’t seem to be present, urgency for customers is lacking. Cashiers are fantastic people, others aren’t so much! Makes me want to drive all the way across town, 5th Ave location doesn’t have these issues at all.

A great store to get Smokes and other quick items to pick up. One few stores within walking distance of the school. Always had a decent staff working, they always kept the store clean and stocked.

Wife and I stopped to fuel up the car. After I was done, she moved the car up into the parking area. Wish other people would do this over going inside and blocking the fuel area for a long time. Went inside to use the restroom and decided we would each get a chicken tender melt sandwich. The cashier was on her personal phone, so it took a little time to get rang up and get a receipt. Sandwich was good and we went on our way.

Easily visible and accessible. Plenty of gas pumps and parking. Good stop to refill gas, load up on snacks or for a bathroom break.

Gas is always one of the lowest around. Fresh fruits and veggies available. All groceries are reasonably priced and even their meats are good! Pop in for coffee and a donut, a sandwich or even a meal to take home for the family. This is THE only place I go to check the pressure in my tires because their system is literally foolproof and easy to use.

Stopped to get gas, traveling in our motorhome with son and family in his car. We were right on the other side of our pump talking to our son and family so right where we could hear our pump. We heard the pump stop but said our goodbye and walked to the other side of the pump where the "change paper towel lady" started telling us rudely that she put the pump back because it had shut off and that we are suppose to stay at the pump while filling up with gas we told her we were right there. We asked her for the receipt and she refused to give it to us and told us we had to go inside. I asked her why she was being so rude to us and continued making rude comments about how us in Iowa don't do things like that which I returned by telling her that she needed to work on her customer service which she returned by telling me that she was a truck driver for 30 years and walked away. And yes we went down the road to finish filling up and didn't have any issues. Definitely need a better person with customer service if you want anybody to come inside and spend more money since she may be the first one to encounter working outside the station.

This is a fairly new Kwik 🌟 Star in Ft. Dodge. It is always busy, but it's so big there is plenty of room to move around, while your trying to decide what kind of coffee you want from the super large assortment of coffees and what flavors you might want to make it. And the choices of hot foods are great especially the hot soups. To top it off the grocery items are between a convenience store and a small grocery store 😊. Their prices are great, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. It is always clean.

Normally super friendly and accomodating.. tonight when we stopped there was no tea and when we asked we were told "there is no tea, there arent any teabags, we have to order more" . No apologies, no thanks for stopping, no see you next time. I usually love this place but today i was disappointed, and felt like we were bothering her by being here.

10:11pm. 6 people in line with one cashier working. Just got gone at a school function. Have not had dinner, stopped to grab some food. Hot case was very minimal. Sandwiches marked an hour from the time I arrived. 5 people working and seeing it was busy. Not one single person acknowledging we were there. Everyone in the kitchen including someone who does not work there. All laughing and making jokes. Friday night and you can not get any help. The gentleman at the registers not asking an ounce for assistance up from. 2 women behind him not offering to help. Very unpleased with our visit. Will continue going to the Kwik star across town by Shimkat. Worth the extra drive if I want to get good service. Maybe want to check your management on the night shift.

Jasmine from third shift is so amazing and kind! The staff at this Kwik Star were so lovely! I left the other Kwik Star in town to go to this one because the staff were awful and came to this one and was treated amazingly!

We visited it for the charger to charge our Tesla but when we arrived there the charger wasn't compatible at all, and we were stuck without enough power and our day ruined. Please update the description of the charging station with the supported electric cars.

Waited 5 minutes for gas pump to be turned on in freezing cold. Finally gave up. Went inside and waited another 2-3 minutes for someone to ring up my soda. Gave up again and went to Caseys where I was promptly rang up.
