So amazing!! I can't thank this clinic enough!! In the midst of an emergency with my Dog Cooper and this dog mom at the end of my rope. They agreed to work us into their already jammed pack schedule. This was not our regular clinic but it is now. You will never find a more caring group of people anywhere!! Cooper is recovering well with a new bounce in his steps. Our little one had a potty problem took in on a Sat morning they worked her in quickly. Provided meds and some food to correct. All worked and we are good now, We were traveling in a RV . it was good to find a good vet.

They did an amazing job at taking care of my 2 pups at the most affordable price I have ever seen a vet! My poor Irish setter had a sudden onset skin infection. Not only did they get him in within a week the cost for the visit and prescriptions were only 50$!

Studying to be a veterinarian, I job shadowed for a week with Dr. Fjeld, Dr. Mullins and the rest of the staff. I can't say enough amazing things about this clinic - everything from the facility and equipment, knowledge and expertise, and the care and compassion I witnessed. I am one of those over-the-top dog mom's and if my pet had an issue, FC Vet Clinic would be my only pick! Outstanding!!!

Such a great facility - we're so fortunate to have them in our small community. They truly care about the animals they treat. They are however, extremely understaffed so if they can't get you in right away just know it's not you, it's not them, it's just trying to care for everyone in a timely matter is tough when you're SO understaffed. They are worth the wait though!!

Absolutely fantastic doctors and staff! My 17 year old feline was having issues and I thought I would need to put her down. They came up with a hyper thyroid diagnosis, and with medication, she is back to her old self. I can not thank FC veterinary Clinic enough for giving me more time with her.

Took my dog in on a Sunday emergency call. The vet was so very helpful and considerate due to the situation my dog was in. The vet called the following day to let me know how my dog was doing and got to go home that day. I highly recommend this place. She not only took care of my beloved Millie, but also gave me peace of mind assuring me that she was doing well before picking her up to go home. Thank you Forest City vet clinic!

Called for an appointment for a senior cat (today, 10/20/22) with pure liquid diarrhea x 2 weeks since I was coming into the area for work on my motorhome and they wouldn't give me an appointment. Told me to do everything I've already tried and basically blew me off. My cat is suffering and they don't care. We live in the motorhome and have been on the road and the only way to get vet care is when traveling through a town. Now I have to find some other vet and who knows how far away they will be? In the meantime my cat isn't eating much anymore and is probably dehydrated on top of it. They just don't care.

On Memorial Day, my family was back in the area visiting family for the weekend and we had to make the difficult decision to put our dog of almost 13 years down. Being a holiday we struggled to find a vet that was on call for emergencies. Dr. Fjeld at Forest City Vetrinary Clinic answered our call and didn’t hesitate one bit to help us out. Even though it was a holiday and even though we weren’t normal clients of theirs. Not once did we feel like we were an inconvenience to him for taking him away from whatever his plans were on a holiday. Dr. Fjeld went above and beyond, and he was extremely understanding and caring of our situation, in a very emotional time. He even made a foot print for us to remember our dog. Today we received a sympathy card from their office signed by the entire staff.If I am ever in the area and need a vet again Forest City Veterinary Clinic will be my first call. And if we are ever live in North Iowa again, I already know where we will be going for our vet needs!Thanks Dr. Gene Fjeld!

The original doctors displayed compassion for the animals they treated.i do not see the younger drs and assistants showing that.i saw my old lab held around the neck .all for an ear ache.he growled at. ani assistant holding him.he has bad hips and I felt she put her weight on him unnecessary. I do not feel i can allow my dog to be treated this way again.animal abuse can never be justified

I've used this vet in the past. They were helpful by saving me some money on the flea meds I need for my rescued cats, and kittens. I'm not sure why I hadn't been for awhile, probably my transportation issues. But, good prices, and the vet is a very nice man, and obviously cares about the animals' welfare.I saw a vet, not long ago, who said that, "if a cat was on the road, it deserved to be run over."She (my long-haired, white, bright blue- cross-eyed, little angel) died a painful death, from swelling of the brain. And that woman's words will forever ring in my ears.Vets aren't what they used to be!!

They are extremely busy and said that they are not taking any new clients out of the immediate area. Thankfully I was able to have them attend to a kitten that was found under the hood of someone's car to keep out of the cold. Quite expensive so I don't think I go back there anyway.

I don't know that Forest City Veterinary Clinic usually sees Chickens, but we had an injured chicken that we were trying to nurse back to health. When we found ourselves in over our heads and needed help, Forest City Vet were extremely helpful, both over the phone and when we made our appointment. Unfortunately our beloved chicken was not is a good way, but the vet was honest with us about her injuries and her prognosis and helped us help her pass peacefully, quickly and humanly. I am grateful to Forest City Veterinary Clinic for helping us!

We thought our Lab pup got into poison or something didn't think he would live but they fixed him up and in 2 days he is back to normal thank God!!! Always such reasonable prices really appreciate the hard work everyone does there!!!!

Dr Mullons was able to see Drew right away. He will be starting pain and antibiotics right away. Thank you Ceara. Seems his dew claw started growing in a weird way and curled around and pierced his skin. Thanks for getting him treated before the weekend.

I spent last five years trying to find a vet who cares bout the pets abd has a brain woohoo got both the vet techs always friendly they just did intestine surgery on one of my four month old great dane pups they did an amazing job called lots to inform us on she was he saved my puppy she is my favorite but I wasn't to worried I know my dogs are in great hands best ever thanks you guys so very very much

My service dog had to be seen quickly and this Vet and Staff was Great to work with!! We were here out of town for just a few short days, but were treated as if we were long time residents. I can’t say enough good about the Forest City Vet Clinic!!!
