A bit under stocked. They’re constantly canceling things I buy frequently. Often, things are moved when I come back for them. And I t would be nice if their greeter actually greeted people he didn’t know.

I had a great experience shopping at the Fairfield Walmart today. I was given the upmost pleasant, honorable customer service. And everything was so organized and priced correctly. I love their new digital produce scales and I still am in love w/ the newer self checkout registers-they are fast & efficient. I received a warm smile from every employee who crosses my path today. Thanks FF Walmart crew. You truly made my day more joyful 😊

It's a smaller store than we usually go to. It doesn't have a deli, which is why we don't go there as much as the next closet location. There's not a bakery, either, though they stock bakery items. Overall, though, you can usually find pretty much what you're looking for whether in grocery or other departments.

Very fast and the cashier was pleasant and even smiled! She did a great job. I was shocked that Walmart opened up checkout lane. They prefer people to the self checkout. I don't get paid to do that. Talking with many people I find out that a lot of people don't like that. But the cashier made today a nice one. I wish I looked at her name tag better to give her more credit!

I only gave it 1 star because I couldn't review w/ out any stars and this needs to be known. LACK OF & NO KNOWLEDGE OR CONCEPT OF what CUSTOMER SERVICE means first & foremost. Managers are the worst obviously leading by example.My grandson, 6, & I had some time to kill so we browse shopped the Burlington, Iowa Walmart store. Picked up a few sale/ clearance items, grocery etc.. My grandson was in the basket part playing on his cellphone w/ his PJ Masks bedtime security blanket over the cart like a tent because he was sleepy & DOES NOT care for shopping trips w/ me. (I have to check out every dept. for good deals.)I thought I noticed this asian/ Korean looking middle-aged man stalking up trying to be incognito. A few more random rounds just to make sure I wasn't over suspicious of his behavior & he really was trying to keep us in his sight. Unsure I called the WBPDto request an officer meet me outside the store incase this guys intentions were felonious. I wait inside until I see the WBPD pull past exit doors & proceed to exit after purchasing my selections. As I push my cart through 1st set of doors a female door greeter stands in front of my cart saying something. Startled I see the officer and push on towards him only to have the Japanese type man from behind me grab ahold of my cart & pull me towards a door in entry way. I'm asking what he thinks he's doing? Hoping the cop hurries in and he identifies himself as Ron. Asset protection officer harrowing me about the blanket covering the cart as hes asking my 6yr old what he put in his pocket. Nothing he replies as RON IS DIGGING IN MY GRANDSONS FRONT JEANS POCKET. I'm cussing. In walks the cop so I'm explaining to him what has happened. He talks to RON for his side of the story. They approach me, cop explains to me Ron saw us both shoplifting merchandise as if I used ny boy to conceal something for me. Nothing! He found NOTHING. Hes swearing he seen it go down so I go as far as asking the cop to peek inside my handbag as well & he does. Ron, searching fra tically can't find video of us in the act so officer tells us we are free to go & if something was found I'd get a call from them. I proceeded to service desk & returned EVERY ITEM we just purchased. That was the very last time I stepped 1 foot in that store. How dare they think they have any rights even close to sticking a grown man's hands down the pants of a little 6 yr old boy. My advice?*" BOYCOTT/BAN WALMARTSEVERYWHERE."********

This is a smaller store so aisles are narrow and I always feel like I am in other people's way or they are in mine. The best way to shop here is online for pick up or very early or right before close when the shopping crowd is smaller.

It is a pretty decent local Walmart. It has what I need for the most part. It is a bit inconsistent with products available and then they are gone which I don't understand why...wish it had a larger organic selection...it is more clean than not and most of the staff is a pleasure!

Lacks selection and the customer service was rude to me when doing a return. I had a label and the product I bought online to return and they would not take it even though it was legitimate. I finally had to do it by sending it myself. They get my business now as a last resort.

Great place, clean, always stocked up but they hire unobservant employees to watch over the self check out because 1 of 20-25 years old employee said you can go to 13 or 26. So I start to go to the 13 but no there was a guy NOT SCANNING HIS ITEMS AND PUTTING THEM IN BAGS so it looked like he played for them Walmart deserved this for hiring bad employees

Fairfield location prices are much higher, the same blanket I got in Mt. Pleasant was 5.00 and there price was 11.00, even the food was more expensive and not much of a selection

I really like how clean this store always is when I come here and how much easier it is to find help vs a bigger city. The staff is also much more friendlier with their interactions than some others I've been to, especially the door greeters! While the veggies aren't always stocked and run low quickly at least they're always fresh as well as the fruit. I do think that the clothing departments need a better layout as finding things from bigger women to smaller women and teens seem to be not very well separated and blends everywhere. The plus size women's department has clothes that look to dress my grandmother! 🤨 The men's department doesn't carry clothes for BiG & Tall making it harder to find clothes for tall and skinny guys. The garden department is very well done and offers a variety of whatever you need. I also feel like more registers should be open for people to get through because there's usually quiet a wait, leaving a lot of people angry and antsy to leave. The self checkouts should not be closed down as they're there for convince for the customers!

Every item on my list was at the store I went at 8 AM..My cart was full I walked by the self service check the lady said Would you like me to open a conveyor belt for you and I thought she was going to open an aisle. No. She opened the conveyor belt to a self serve. I had 2 cases of water and I'm not sure how many bags of groceries but they totalled almost $300.I did not I think this was Good customer service to have an older lady do this all by herself scan.., Put in bags and put back in cart and of course I carried it all in my cart to the car.That's why I'm only giving a one star because I was mad mad mad about doing this myself.

One of the cleanest Walmarts I have ever been in. Everything was well stocked and the employees were very helpful pointing us in the direction of what we were looking for. Definitely made the trip a lot easier and less stressful as we were on a bit of a time crunch. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area again

This I think goes for the chain in general...the products are REALLY cheap. They keep discontinuing some of the best products, and the fabric section now has almost no yardage (not that the fabric was good anyway). The worst? It is getting LOUD (not because of people); they have a ridiculously loud speaker outside, and the radio (which I hate) is louder than a year ago. Just because I am outside doesn't mean I want as much noise as possible...some people have low tolerance for constant, mildly unpleasant sounds. The only good thing about this location is the customer service...a couple ladies know me, and are nice people.

Very rude people work here. I was waiting at a checkout. The very old woman working there put up a closed sign right in front of me so I had to back out of the lane and find another. A guy was at another check out. I asked him 3 times if his lane was open. Totally ignored me.

Horrible experience with their Walmart Pickup department. My time slot was for 10-11 AM and at 11:10 AM they stated my order would be ready at some point that day. I drove 25 miles into town to get these groceries and they couldn't tell me why my order was ready. My question is why do they have time slots if my order might be ready at some point during they day? They were not helpful at all and I'm very disappointed on how they handled the situation. This isn't my first time having problems with my time slot.

I do nearly all my shopping at Walmart. The atmosphere is good. People are treated well. Prices are good. I love the clearance sales. I wait until the end of a season and buy clothes for the next year. I generally only pay $3 or $4 for the things I buy. I have a closet full of lovely clothes with tags still on them. And I only buy thingsI would wear. I never buy simply because it is cheap.
