BEWARE OF THEIR SCAM!! They will mark something on clearance but charge you full price. I spent over $100 there and was forced to go to an ATM to get cash since they don't accept credit cards. Didn't realize they charged me full price for one of my items until I had driven 6 hours further on my roadtrip. Tried to resolve this privately with a FB message showing my receipt and the item, they read the message (FB shows you this) and have ignored it. Can't do a chargeback because I paid in cash. If you've been a customer here I guarantee if you don't watch your receipts they'll overcharge you too and won't make it right. Will NEVER shop here again. I will be filing a complaint with the State on shady business practices as well as the BBB. I want my refund!!! Criminals.

Credit card machine has been down the entire year I’ve lived here, I can hardly ever find staff (but the one gentleman I always end up finding is helpful), any time I call for rental questions, etc. there’s never an answer to the point I just assume they’ve finally completely closed. It’d be amazing to have a hardware store in town, but if I can’t find it at the farm stores then I’ll just go to menards instead of deal with true value now.

This store is going downhill. Doors have been broken for several years. Card machine has been "down" for 6 months. A lot of people including myself rarely carry cash so to not have working card machines for this long has to be losing them business. I have walked in and right back out several times because of this. Surely they can figure something out. The appearance of the store looks pretty bad as well with potholes all over the parking lot and a general abandoned feeling. I gave 2 stars merely because the staff is friendly. This store is either heading towards closure or is without effective management.

Love True value. Shopped there for years. There always polite and love there attitude it is contagious. Always a smile on there faces when you walk in and gotta love the dog when you walk in to. I have bought alot from them and I won't go know where else to buy my things. JUST LOVE MY TRUE VALUE

Good help!! But the store is going down hill lots of times things that you should need 2 items they only have one. They say their credit card machine doesn't work that's been forever and yet it works right across the aisle In the furniture section

We needed a car dolly to pick up a car. They didnt have one at all. They depend too much on the randomness of people moving into town to give them what they need. What they need is one for local use an returned. If we can move our car ourselves its cheaper then paying for tow truck.

I'd rate this a 0 star if I could. First, there's never a manager there. Every time I call or go in, there is no manager. And no one knows when he/she/they will return. I went in every few days for 2 1/2 weeks, and no one was there.Next, they don't follow through on promises delivery. We had a mattress that was to be delivered between 1 and 2. The driver called at 110, to make sure someone would be here. At 215 I called, asking where it was. "Oh, they haven't left yet. Someone went to lunch and they haven't come back yet". 3:00 comes around, I call again. Nope still not on the way, they havent come back yet.Finally called customer service 1800 number. Finally, they show up...at 5. My daughter opened the door, and they just waltzed in. I was at work, my wife was dealing with a youngest child issue. Didn't make sure an adult was home, if it was ok to co NJ e in...just walked in. Said nothing to my wife. Not a word.Took the old mattress, put new one on, and left.I'd rather not deal with this place ever again.

Too cheap to pay for credit card machine. Someone should clean up the bird droppings at the entrance. Haven't these people heard of the bird flu. Every customer has to walk through this.

Cashier was helpful and directed me to the correct aisles to finish my project. This store also hosts another local company called Hazel and Grey. Super cute gifts, Montessori toys, soaps, and decor.

Kurt seemed more interested in laughing and giggling with a skirt than actually helping me. When he finally decided that he had other customers he tells me that the area is soon being reset with no offer of further help. This place is a waste of time.

This is a very orderly and well stocked store. The sales staff is very helpful and well informed. I particularly appreciate their well stocked hardware section that includes lots of metric bits and pieces.

Told them my wife and i needed a trailer for a large riding lawnmower, and they gave us a tiny covered trailer. No way my mower would fit in such a trailer. Horrible just horrible.
