I use to go that bigger store in Spirit Lake, but found that my local HyVee has the same items, at or around the same low prices of the other place. So no need in wasting my gas, when I can get what I need a couple blocks away.

With the surge of news articles on legal liabilities of self check I was surprised seeing your recent conversion. With ever rising prices it seems poor timing to pay more & do the work for you. Especially when items didn't charge correctly. It's not unusual to catch errors but the cashier was right there to correct them. Now you have to wait for someone to come & undo them. I only shop every 3 wks so I had a fairly large orders & ended up leaving 1/4 of my order behind in frustration. Looks like Fareway is getting a new customer.

They have rearranged the entire store so having to relearn where everything is..not convenient when you were in a hurry. Still on fence with self checkout... Sometimes they work great and then they don't so you have to wait for staff to come over and assist you anyhow 🙄

What happen to Hy Vee? Prices are high, very few kitchen & bakery items. Kitchen closes too early & service is horrible. It's like they don't really want to serve any food. Sent away again half hour before they close, cuz they were cleaning up early. Last time I will visit the kitchen. The Self checkout for customers only leaves all those employees just standing around and talking. No longer a service oriented store.

First visit since the steam table was removed. I asked if they still made hot food to order. They do so I ordered a burger and fries. The service was very polite and my burger looked great, however, the meat had a very bad taste and I was not able to get over it. The great customer service salvaged this visit from a one star to three star. I hope this was an isolated incident but it was enough to keep me away.

All of the employees have always been fantastic anytime we've been in there, The meat is wonderful and the sales are amazing. The Pharmacy is so easy to work with, weather it's an injection or picking my meds they are always polite and on the ball. Thank you Hyvee workers it's always fun to come in to the store.

They have removed way too many products and organization is horrendous.I ONLY shop here because FAREWAY is closed sundays.

It is Hy-Vee but as you remember as a kid. Smaller and more focused on grocery store.They are adding Hy-Vee Chinese!

Service was slow. Order prepared incorrectly.Store location out of multiple menu items.. Cashier stated I hadn't paid for all my food ordered and was almost overcharged $8.00 and denied the food I had paid for. Cashier then informed me they were out of the food paid for. The employees here do not care about the clients they serve. Do yourself a favor and drive down the road to Hardee's.

We got there just after they opened. We got all the things we were needing and wanted. We had a good breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The employees were very helpful and there was a smile in every aisle.

I just paid $21.48 for a dozen donuts... That's insane!! Are they made with gold? Sprinkled with diamond dust? ... Ummm no. I get that process have increased but c'mon $21 for Hy-Vee donuts is absolutely ridiculous!!

Clean and friendly place to shop, prices are a little above the norm, but for a local store not really bad. Their weekly sales are worth going to.

Between HyVee and Fareway, both have their benefits and downsides. HyVee produce is usually priced higher, and lower quality than Fareway, however Fareway boxed goods are usually more costly (cereal, pretzels, etc.)Go to HyVee for your junkfood (and milk)Go to Fareway for your produceWith the newest addition of the clunky self-checkout, I have moved to buying most things from Fareway across the street.

Great. Friendly and very helpful staff members. The place was very clean and upon having to use the restroom I found that very respectable being clean floors, mirrors and sink and smelt clean. Is go back there again anyday
