Employees VERY RUDE!! 5/4/23 who ever the workers were, were extremely rude when we told them they messed up on blizzards & gave us the wrong sizes and the flavors. Worker told us so what you’re not going to eat them. Then proceeded to roll her eyes. We just kept them and left.

Very poor service with the older lady, I got a chicken strip basket, and I just wanted an extra ranch and she told me it was a charge so I simply said my food was very cold so could we even it out? When got very snappy and told me it was just made. Along with that as well my coworkers food came out wrong and she didn’t want to make it at first then came out and then told us the cashier hit the wrong button.

I thought they were done serving old food but I guess not....my fries were salty and soggy and the tenders hard neither being warmer than a baby's bottle!! I'm not sure how they stay in business during the winter

Place is dirty, I ordered the chicken strip basket and my food tasted like the oil hasn't been changed in a while. Staff is not the friendliest. Would rather go to Spirit Lake Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen is known more for their treats than meals. The meal was decent, for fast food of course. The ice cream treats are always good. The service was average. The staff could have been more friendly. They were doing their job.

If I could give negative stars I would. Went thru the drive thru, ordered a blizzard and 3 orders of fries. The fries were half full along with cold and nasty. When we brought this to the attention of the worker we were told that the fries are on a 30 minute rotation so they were still fine. When I disagreed the worker became snotty and rude. I then asked to speak with the manager to which the worker told me to go around to the front. The manager came out with fresh fries but proceeded to tell me that if I wanted fresh fries I needed to tell them that when I was placing my order. Wth? I didn't know I needed to ask for fresh food, not something that's been sitting out for 30 minutes. I told the manager this who was extremely rude and told me I could just not come back again. I told her that wouldn't be a problem.

I ordered a single blizzard. The line and wait was long, but i was patient because ive worked in food before. I know how slammed you can get.By the time i got to the window, i paid, and i could see the blizzard on the counter. It had clearly been sitting there for a while, long enough to melt. I could see the flat surface of the now soupy ice cream. The worker grabbed it, looked at it, made a face, and said "eh, looks better than most things you get" and gave it to me. I tried to take a bite, and it was indeed all liquid.I paid five dollars.You can get a pint of Ben and Jerrys for that amount and it is both more and better tasting.

Was pretty happy with them tonight. Got a bacon cheeseburger, no tomato, combo with 2 chili dogs. They were out of bacon and offered jalapeño bacon and I was very pleased but they had put tomato on the sandwich. The chili dogs were made nice and clean and tasted nice and fresh.

Service was slow, even for Dairy Queen. A new employee took our order, which is fine, but her training supervisor was sitting with a group of friends cursing up a storm. This continued the whole time we were there. The order of onion rings came out burnt, harder than a rock, my chicken sandwich was absolutely disgusting, and the bacon cheeseburger was undercooked. This is the absolute worst food I’ve ever had, and I feel for the new employee that has to put up with coworkers that do nothing to help. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

We are just visiting Estherville, we got 2 blizzards, and a cheeseburger. Both blizzard were not flipped upsides before handed to us and if they would have the ice cream definitely would have fell out of the cup. The ice cream was half melted and barely blended. The cheeseburger was put together very sloppy and was just disgusting to eat. Definitely would never recommend that dq to anyone!

We've been there a few times, food is usually cold, the blizzards are not served upside down and It is obvious as to why not. They also do not accept app coupons. We will just stick to other fast food places around the area.

Would appreciate if they would allow more than 1 order per car. I work for a company that requires each person pay separately. Having to drive around the drive thru 3 times just to get everyone in the vehicles order is very inconvenient.

very slow service. Also, they need to clean their blizzard mixers better. I ordered a salted caramel truffle blizzard and there were very obvious large pieces of strawberry in it.

Foods outstanding, probably the best DQ I have ever eaten at. 10/10 service weave hairs are not that much of a problem.

Honestly we are just visiting Estherville this afternoon and decided to grab some lunch. I looked up fastfood restaurants in the area and was sceptical given the reviews and stars DQ has received. We gave it a shot and it was totally worth it. I usually order a Chili Cheese Dog at the DQ in Spirit Lake and they always forget silerware we recieved 2 sets of silverware and our food came out quickly and was warm (perfect temperature)Very Happy with our experience

Tried DQ again two days ago...... I should have learned my lesson the first time ...ugh. This time I ordered a 5 buck lunch, with a caramel sundae. The caramel was BURNT. I asked the gal if the caramel was burnt... She looked at another employee, who shrugged her shoulders and turned to me, and said "no". Then proceeded to shut the drive thru window. Ok....I guess that convo is over... Terrible food. Terrible management. That place needs a overhaul. Disgusting. Calling health department tomorrow.

Ordered a Med Pecan Blizzard-no pecans very little chocolate basically I pd 5.45 for a vanilla cup of ice cream. Called and received an apology, that was all ! Not happy 2d time this DQ was horrifying
