The prices may look expensive but the quality and quantity of food it worth it. The food is FANTASTIC & deserves all the stars. The people in the kitchen do a great job, and you will leave satisfied and filled. This was a great find, and we will be going back for more. Thank you for the great food for the party of 14 that we had. You all are great and highly satisfied family and future customers. They do take reservations and have a very friendly staff.

Happy New Year! I stopped at the cute little spot with my significant other for breakfast. I ordered the scrumptious California Crepes. OMG!! I recommend them to everyone!Our waitress, Nita was prompt and Helpful.Took a slice of their homemade Strawberry cheesecake home!

A good local breakfast spot is one of my favorite things in life. I like waking up and cooking bacon, eggs and potatoes for myself, but what's better than having someone else do that for you while you relax in a booth while reading the morning news? This is what I needed on this particular Saturday in Eldridge, and this is what I got from Tasty Cafe.The building in which Tasty Cafe resides is pretty unassuming and easy to miss. It looks clean and new from the outside but also has a really low profile. On this Saturday morning, however, it wasn't hard to spot. As I neared the restaurant traveling west along Le Claire Road, it was easy to tell the parking lot was packed. I got a little excited - this place must be really popular to be this full!And indeed it was. As I approached the entrance, I literally became the line out the door waiting to get in for a table. Only for a moment, though, as the staff quickly cleared a few tables and I was seated in a booth about three minutes later.I quickly had a drink order in and a menu in front of me. As I typically do, I ended up ordering a skillet - I think the title was Ay Caramba, or something (it was a Mexican Skillet with chorizo). The servers were really nice and with my order placed, I sat back with some reddit on my phone to enjoy my morning.The interior of Tasty Cafe is much the same as many other newer breakfast nooks I've been to recently. The interior appears to have been redone recently - the floors are a clean looking grey/brown ceramic tile, the walls are a very neutral light blue, and the overhead is covered in a simple drop ceiling with florescent lighting throughout. It's all very clean and reminiscent of many other breakfast diners.My food arrived not long after ordering and I tucked in soon after. The scrambled eggs were a little less fluffy than I'd have expected, but were still soft and buttery and paired well with the rye toast I'd gotten with the skillet. With the eggs completed, I tucked into the skillet contents underneath. These were similarly solid - the chorizo had some nice spice to it, the home fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy within, and the vegetables throughout were sufficiently cooked but still retained plenty of sweetness and texture. All in all, a great way to start this lazy Saturday.If I were back in Eldridge again, I'd come back here for more breakfast. For that matter, I'd come back to try their lunch options, as well. Everything looks tasty, the servers were really nice, and the interior is clean. Thanks, Tasty Cafe!Vegetarian options: There was a really tasty looking garden skillet on the menu. You could probably also order breakfast with no meat - hashbrowns, eggs, and toast?Dietary restrictions: You should inquire with your server as to your specific dietary needs. There should be options for those that need them on a Keto or Paleo diet.Parking: There's plenty of free parking around the entire restaurant in the lot surrounding.Kid-friendliness: There were children of various ages in the restaurant while I was there. They also had high chairs available for the very young.Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance is wheelchair accessible.

This place is insanely great!! You absolutely have to try it for breakfast!! We had regular pancakes, an omelette, and the cinnamon roll pancakes…all were a 10/10 with the cinnamon roll pancakes being something like a 15/10!! Great service and reasonable prices. Seriously, just go try this place!!!

Everything we ordered was delicious! The order came out to the table and I had to take pictures because it looked so amazing! The coffee was good, too. The waitstaff did a great job of ensuring they checked on us at the right intervals and took care of our requests promptly. We will be back in the future.

I’m just a simple City boy that was reminded of what great food, and family style service is. The fine staff here reminds me of what customer service used to be. Mid way the lunch, we chanced our mind from fries to soup with the meal. They were kind enough to accommodate our indecision. While we are in town this will be our new primary place for breakfast and lunch. My deep hearted thanks to the staff here!

I love breakfast and the French toasts were satisfying. Tasty Cafe is a down-to-earth old style cafe with country atmosphere. Friendly waitresses., clean place serving comfort food.

We love this place and drive from Davenport often and never disappointed...but our visit this morning I'm am very disappointed and upset..I have got steak and eggs there many times and this morning me and my husband ordered steak and eggs again and the steak for that price is a joke... Cheap small thin thing you call steak....and our bill wàs I Believe $44 that's not right...if your going too start going cheap let us know we will find another place...shame on you

Great little cafe that has a good selection of breakfast and lunch choices. The country egg breakfast and Farmers eggs Benedict were excellent. The servers were very helpful and efficient. Will return.

Very great and I mean very great. The employees checked in on you frequently asked if you wanted more coffee and even my kid was enjoying the employees too. The cinnamon roll pancake with chocolate chips in it was super. The soup might have been the best soup I’ve had in my life and if you had a cold baseball game it’s only about 8 minutes away with warm hot cocoa and whip cream on top so if you read this you need to go because you’ll probably rate this 5 stars too.

On a trip, wife found this quaint Cafe, and we decided to have lunch. Upon entry, cordially acknowledged and informed to sit anywhere. Waitress took our drink order while we looked over menu. Although we arrived before noon, we were provided menus, most of which featured breakfast items. However, menu also indicated breakfast not served after 11am. After ordering lunch, we overheard others ordering breakfast.!?Wife ordered Mediterranean panini, but ingredients weren't what was stated. No pesto, and ricotta cheese instead of mozzarella . Needless to say, she didn't finish nor enjoy. I had pork tenderloin sandwich. Was generous in size, but dry. Had to put mustard on to give flavor. Wife had cheesy broccoli soup which she enjoyed. At least she ate something. Won't make the effort on our next trip through.

The food was fantastic. The service was perfect. It was a full house and we had breakfast. It was the best cooked food and the staff was fantastic. I definitely want to return and eat there again. Highly recommend if you are looking for quality food like "grandma" used to make. I took half of mine home and reheated the next morning and it was just as good as the day before.

We have eaten here many times and the food and service have always been good. Today the owner asked us to leave because he had other people waiting. Mind you, we paid our bill and tipped well. We left feeling disrespected and will not be going back. We were just finishing up and would have left in a matter of minutes, but instead had to leave in a rush with a bad taste in our mouth.

Went today with my son for the first time was pretty busy but got seated right away and our waitress came over with menus right away as well. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon and my son ordered the tenderloin with fries and a side saled. Prob got our food within 15 minutes and it was delicious!! You do get alot of food and the waitress was very attentive and nice. Would def recommend just watch when you order sides because they are a bit pricey and will add up quickly..over all cute little place with great service and good food
