Not a bad sized store. Employees are somewhat friendly can be hit or miss. Store is pretty messy for the most part. One thing they need to really work on is communication and cleanliness.

The cashier was more than helpful trying to find me the right light bulb for my candle warmer that I've been searching for a while now. She's an amazing contributor to Dollar general in Sheldon Iowa. Thanks again lady!!

Today was the third straight time price rung up was more than the shelf ticket. The first time I let it go. Second time the price was $1 more than the shelf price. The clerk corrected it. Today a bottle of pop was charged a quarter more. The clerk was rude when I asked to have it corrected. Blamed their overcharging on staff shortage. Read an article that in another state Dollar General is in trouble for doing this same thing. So watch what you are being charged!

EDITED: I thought I was reviewing the ORANGE CITY store. All my comments in this review pertain to Orange CityEmpty shelves and what was there was slim pickings. Tiffany is the best employee hands down. Great sense of humor and extremely knowledgeable. Rob is the next best.

I wish this store was bigger and offered more of a variety as we do not have much in town. The store seems to be cluttered a lot and the staff members seem to have a "don't care" attitude. I felt like the older dollar general was ran better when it was downtown about 5 years ago? Things were more organized thats for sure. It's just been steadily going down hill which is a shame since its a new store.

I really loved the variety of things you could buy here. Service was decent and understanding. The prices are remarkably nice, as well. There isn't very much to say about this place. It is mainly a store. If I ever need anything, I would shop here again if I am in Marquette Hights. Thank you for the good prices, for your convenient location, and decent service!

Store always a mess. No one I know is happy about ever having to shop in this dollar general. A mess from management to employees and store walk ways are always crowded with junk waiting to be put away--- DIRTY AYMOSPHERE!!!Employee was so so rude would never want my friends or family treated the way I was. I told her she was rude and she laughed.... Sigh.

Employee was polite & helpful. Store was messy and unshoppable. I only stop at the Sheldon location if I only need a few things. Really wish I could shop and enjoy the entire store bc I really love Dollar General & its digital coupons.

Employees are nice and friendly as well very helpful 🙂 I also want to state that Price's are a little to much!! Price's seem to be just a little to much compared to Department stores one can buy same thing's for a few dollars more!!! Just stating, Thank you

New store is set up pretty well. It is difficult to find some things. Either because they don't have stock of much, or its hidden among other. Prices are steeper for some food items compared to local grocery stores.

The atmosphere found everything I needed just makes you feel funny when you walk into a public place like that you know it's 2019 understand we all stay in different regions of America but sometimes you just got to get past your own hiccups in your head to do the job and just be the best register lady you can be so you just had a bad atmosphere near wasn't pleasant walk in so maybe cuz I was not a local

This one is in orange city ia. I won't usually go there buti was in a hurry. The isles are so full of things for sale and dis organized I don't like going in there. I will go to the one in remsen ia, about 10 miles farther but much better and well planned out floor plan

Was a properly stocked store, however parking was not convenient and I had to b walk a ways. Also staff was more concerned about gossiping with one another than with helping customers.

Complete mess. Store is a mess, employee's are not trained or knowledgeable. Line to the door on this visit. I prefer George. It is worth your drive.
