Great food. I'm picky about my tenderloin sandwiches (Iowa born and bred), and I love theirs! It's massive and thick and juicy, plus breaded just right. They also have my favorite sweet potato fries (not sugared, lightly salted) that you can get with ranch or syrup. Staff has always been friendly, whether it's slow or slammed. I highly recommend a stop there!

We needed to stop for a bite there were not many options. When we walked in it felt like all eyes turned to us. Obviously we stood as not being locals. The waitress was nice and made some good recommendations. Thank you.

Small town bar. First and only place we saw to eat on our way to the American Gothic. The staff was super friendly. Initially there was only one waitress who was also the bartender. We had a bourbon burger with onion rings and a christy chicken sandwich with cheese curds. Sandwiches are all stand alone, you pick the sides you want. It seems like they make things fresh there - the ranch was definitely not from a grocery store. They have some sort of clothing store in the back that has Iowa Hawkeyes memorabilia and local Chommy's branded gear. It seemed to be doing really well with the number of people purchasing. Place had a lot of locals sitting at the bar. Not a place I would go back to given the unlikely possibility I will ever be in the neighborhood again, but a pleasant place to eat if you're there for lunch.Parking: The railroad depot is next door, it's possible parking is shared, but unlikely so busy you can't get a spot.

Nice small town bar. Saw on Google that Chommy's was known for their pork tenderloin sandwich. Didn't realize it was local pork that was breaded in their kitchen. Sandwich was excellent, as were the "cheese balls" which were fried cheese curds. Some decent beers on tap. Definitely worth the trip off the beaten path to try Chommy's!

This is a cool little bar. Has a heated smoking area. Great food and good people. I've even taken my dog there for a giant tenderloin. So big it can be shared between 2 people. Burgers cheese curds breaded mushrooms are on the menu. Stop by!! Great atmosphere and place to hang out😀

The tenderloins are big & very delicious. All the staff are very friendly & efficient. The moment we we're sitting there was someone immediately at our table to serve us. I would recommend this business to anyone wanting good food and friendly atmosphere.

It's a nice place, a pretty typical bar that serves food. The food was very good with normal portion sizes and the service was very good and friendly. The downside for me was that I had a salad, an order of fried pickles, and a Coke and the bill was over twenty two bucks. That just seems like a lot to me. Maybe it's just me.

I love their pork tenderloin with the fixings. True to Iowa. Thin, crispy, 2x the size of the bun. One of the best I have had. The Mac and cheese was good, a lot of cheese. Service was good and friendly. We will be back

The best tenderloin sandwich anywhere. Not pounded so thin as to have more crust than meat. Tender and not overcooked. I will be going there often.

Had a work lunch here. Great little place for an awesome sandwich. Got a tenderloin and fries, had to take the fries home. You get a lot of food for the money.
