This is our favorite winery and is always a stop when we visit anywhere close enough to drop in. They are generally pretty busy and today was no exception. It was a super hot afternoon and they were hosting a wedding at their even location located close by. The servers still did their best to accommodate us and we forgave them for the time it took to get our drinks based upon the number of people there. The wine as usual was delicious and affordably priced when we purchased several bottles before leaving.. Many wines to choose from guaranteed to satisfy any palette you may have.

Stone Cliff Winery has a great location, on the Mississippi River, but you can’t see the river because of the levee. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon walking along the river walk, and decided to finish with a drink here. We loved sitting on the patio. The old brick brewery shaded us from the late afternoon sun. Service was fabulous. The Cabernet and Chardonnay were drinkable. IMHO The Pinot was undrinkable. When the server asked how we liked the Pinot and we told her we didn’t, she offered to replace it with anything else we might like. The bread and oil was AMAZING as an accompaniment to the wine. If you order the bread and oil, ask for the balsamic vinegar. Perfection.

First time visitors. The ambience and service were great! We stayed inside as it was too cold to go out! I am not a big drinker, but found the Sangria wine to be my favorite! Bottle pricing was great! It was a perfect location- wine for me, beer for the husband, and a menu! The bruschetta wasn't my favorite, but a plentiful snack that we finished. There seemed to be seasoning that tasted more Italian herb vs fresh basil, garlic, and balsamic per the usual. We will definitely go back and recommend fully!

Great experience great food, beer and wine. The Hummus platter is outstanding! Almost as good as the Gold Star Ale. Speaking of gold stars, I would like to give one each to Lizzie and Hope they took wonderful care of us.

We had a great time enjoying a wine tasting before dinner and sitting out by the water. We also took home a couple bottles of wine.

service was ok. Live music was excellent. Pizza was out of the first two I wanted, third came out burnt to a crisp. wine selection limited and almost all sweet wines which I cannot drink. They did have wine I could drink. just limited in selection.

Visited this winery in a fascinating beer museum located on the port. Loved the layout and design of the tasting room. Large windows light the whole room up like you are sitting outside. Staff is very helpful and well versed in wine making process and history of the winemaker.Favorite part about this winery in the wine. Tasting includes generous pours and option to purchase glass for a very low price. I like sweet wines and was very impressed with their selection of them. All prices were very reasonable which encouraged me to by several.Loved the Jazz-berry Port and will defiantly be coming again.

We saw this cute place as we were walking our dog and went back lunch! Everything was amazing from the staff to the drinks to the food. I would highly recommend to anyone! The apple-cranberry was my favorite!

Pop me a star, dude! Really nice bar with a small museum section in the entry hallway about the history of the brewing operations at this historic location. This place has a pleasant, comfortable feel to it, provided by the surroundings and the staff. One suggestion: more coat racks.

Phenomenal location, food and wine. My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and had an amazing time. The servers were hustling but so warm and friendly and considerate despite the business. The food was top notch. We had a pizza and the southwest rolls that came quickly and were very tasty and perfect portion sizes to share. The wine flight was great to be able to try so many different flavors and we also had a wine lemonade that was unique and wonderful. We will be back!

Went for the beer. Fair imitation of the original Dubuque Star beer that my dad drank. Very tasty appetizers, try the charcuterie and the egg rolls. Nice setting and friendly staff.

What a wonderful place this is. Great pours on the wine tasting! The beer is very good. Atmosphere is turn of the century saloon, very inviting. Our server, Jenna was very pleasent and knowledgable about the history and wine.

I stopped with my sister and husband on a Friday night. We love their strawberry rubharb wine, and tried the chicken salad sliders on pretzel bun- they were amazing! Live music and a great atmosphere!

It's a great winery, but we were quite surprised with the $11-12/bottle "corking fee". There are many wineries that don't charge this fee......hmmm.

Been here before and was excited to return. Sadly it was not the same experience. We had to beg for service when 4 servers were working. Was told it might be better if we went to the bar to order. We were purchasing a case of wine on top of drinks and a appetizer. No one came with a bill, we almost walked out as we were certain no one was helping us. Mr was trying to buy a shirt and only s/m size. Truly felt like we were a inconvenience.

I enjoy their wine a lot. I enjoy dry wine and had their cabernet. My my husband and friend enjoy sweet and had their strawberry rhubarb and my friend enjoyed the Purple cow.We hold off from going as often as we like since they are not flexible on their charcuterie board for a vegetarian. We had someone come along who had the meat portion this time and they did put it on a separate plate since I have an allergy. It would be nice to be able to order a charcuterie that can be adapted for a vegetarian to enjoy and/or pay for extra cheese to add on.I would love to see a chocolate pairing board to go with their jazzbery port, it's delicious and would compliment it well too.

It was super busy, which was a good thing for them. The staff seemed a but harried, but we got what we wanted and enjoyed a lovely view of the river, along with quite good wine.
