Would like to thank Brian for helping our family on a difficult morning. Driving into Dubuque from Wisconsin we were involved in a multi-car accident. Our drivers side window was shattered. We pulled into Ace a little shaken up and looking for some solutions. Brian went above and beyond by loaning a shop-vac and assisting us in taping up our window. Thank you Brian for being so helpful and showing our girls how we all help each other .

EMPLOYEES ARE GOOD BUT THE MANAGEMENT WON'T TEACH THEM. THEY CONTINUE TO CHARGE TAXES ON ANY FOOD ITEMS WHICH THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO. THE FRONT AREA IN FRONT OF THE STORE ALONG THE STREET AND IN THE PARKING LOT LOOKS LIKE A WASTE MANAGEMENT LANDFILL OVERFLOW. YUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prices are too high they don't carry enough Ace brands of stuff they didn't even have a simple cord whiner holder. I ended up driving all the way out to Menards and finding them for a lot cheaper than they wanted them online

I would like to pass along my appreciation to some of the most outstanding folks.I stopped by the store last night in in crisis mode. Was in the middle of a Mothers Day project and and ran into tool issues. Needed advise and parts. When I walked through the doors I was greeted with friendly helpful faces welcoming me in. I explained what I needed and the troops went into action. David, Don, Cody and Emma all stepped up to help. Within minutes I was set up with what I needed, was wished good luck and now the project is done. NO big box store can keep up with the service of real folks that care to help a neighbor. Excellent place to go. Grabbed some certain types of bolts and screws. Sometimes maybe more pricey than menards or Lowe's however the knowledge of the staff makes up for that. Alot easier to buy at Steve's Ace.

I love Steve's Ace Hardware. I stop in at least once a week. I am always greeted. Sometimes by name. Most of the time I find what I need, sometimes I don't. With the two locations, it's nice to pop in quick for a part and avoid waiting at a supply house or big-box store.

I spoke with Cody and Justin in Hardware May 24 & 25 about bird feeders, bird hangers, bird seed and a tote to store seed on deck. Both were very accommodating and even willing to measure hangers because I was having husband pick up all. In fact, Justin said he'd call today after truck was unloaded and put 2 of the hangers coming in aside and call me. Customer service plus!! Appreciate most of Steve's staff. Had a more difficult time getting someone to help me in Gift Shop when visiting JFK though, so need improvements there. I was looking at M Studio art poles and as soon as I got out my phone to check online someone walked up, after waiting 20 min.
