They run a bit expensive but the food is organic and of very high quality. They offer really good discounts on produce. I love their beauty supply section that includes incense, aromatherapy oils, in addition to the makeup, hair care, and skin care items. They have a huge section of supplements and vitamins. I was surprised to see they have a section of literature and books in the back! One other tip is they offer vegan based holiday meals for the upcoming season. Awesome store that Dubuque really needed!

A must shop experience. Anyone can be a purveyor of natural or supernatural goods. Yes, they have organic foods and brands. The staff has intimate knowledge of their fare. They are willing to educate you on food and supplements.I spoke with Tom who pointed me to food and supplements that would enhance the quality of my life (being a heart failure patient).As a consumer, it is easy to get lost in brands and products. I like their caring approach to my health. I hope the reader would too.

Great place for organic, vegan, and other health foods. We do a lot of shopping here. Nice set up, not crowded and nice employees. Lots of natural and chemical free type stuff you can't find anywhere else.

Love to shop Natural Grocers in Dubuque but the Iowa City location has far more products and greater product depth. Don't always have the sale products shown in the flyer on the shelf. Website leaves a lot to be desired. Employees are always helpful and friendly, but they could use a few more of them.

2024- they had Bunches of bananas in the back labeled 10 cents each. I went up to the register where the cashier was at and she directed me to a different register and then left me waiting which was frustrating. At the register, she began counting out each banana in the bunch and I told her no, there's a big sticker that goes around all the bananas. It's 10 s a bunch. She insisted know that it was 10 cents a banana. I told her if that's the case, they should put up a sign saying that the discount is 10 cents for each banana. She snapped at me fine fine! You can have the bunch for 10 cents!2022-I pulled up at 8:30 p.m. and watched the guy Bolt the door shut 6 minutes before close as I approached. Then they all avoided eye contact. Kind of frustrating hearing the mission story about why the store closes at 8:36 p.m. and how the customer comes first, however, Normally every other time I have a good experience and usually purchase a lot of products. I don't mean to be too hard on you guys. I like the store I like the employees

Great place to find natural and organic food. If you sign up for their (N) power you can get your eggs for $1.99. You also get points for every dollar you spend. I wish we had one closer but I will be going back as you can buy your herbs and spices in bulk which is a great deal right there! Check them out

It is a great place to get vitamins, teas, and food. Staff is always friendly, but some specialty products sell out quickly and does take them a while to get them restocked.

I absolutely LOVE this store but the last few times they don't apply my Npower number to the transaction. I've had to pay for supposedly "free" candy bars, not gotten Npower discounts, and none of my payments are going towards my $200. Super frustrating after awhile!

I could kick myself for not shopping here sooner. While the staff is wonderful and the store is very clean and organized. My selling point is the variety of products. The prices steer also very agreeable. I go in for one or two things and leave with much more. They also have a free rewards program and if you forget to bring a shopping bag they keep small boxes right at the registers!

Anne was superbly helpful, finding a strain of wheat for me that I need in sourdough baking! She even took my number, boxed up the required bags for me and set them aside for pickup when it came in! I would give her a 6 star rating. Then...When I arrived, I told Andre, who was working at the register, why I was there. She treated me like she doubted that there would be anything set aside, nor that she would have the ability to find it! I just brushed off the attitude and asked her to check while I shopped.When I returned, she was even more disbelieving of the order that was in the box. And I quote, “What happened?! Did your husband order this for you?” Her general attitude was disrespectful and full of disdain. I don’t understand the implications or intention of that question.I have no husband and when I did, I handled all the grocery shopping as I was the one who made the menus. I was shocked. I’ve got feminist friends that would have verbally cut her to shreds!! That intrusive question was really inappropriate on SO many levels that I was speechless.Before I retired, I had a seminar business teaching communication skills to managers all over the country. I would have loved to give her some real tips on sensitivity and good customer service that leads to retention and loyalty. She gets a one star rating, only because everyone gets a chance to grow!I experienced both ends of the spectrum and will remain a cautious customer, no longer expecting rock star service from anyone but Anne. I hope I am pleasantly surprised in the future.

Thank you for having cart wipes, paper produce bags, and employees with masks. It is also awesome to see the cashier wipe down everything, including the keypads, between customers. Thank you for providing quality products and trying to keep us all safe!

Not impressed! A lot of empty shelf space, store did not have the variety that the web site showed… meat dept was non existent…. However I did buy organic fruits & vegetables and a few other things then found the same at HyVee cheaper… live and learn I guess! Won’t visit again.

Wonderful new addition to Dubuque! The store is very well organized, and the staff are always very pleasant and helpful. They have a great variety of organic and healthy options, including a diverse selection of probiotics. They also carry a ton of supplements, especially for working out which contain the highest quality and most ‘natural’ ingredients! I would definitely recommend this place to others!

This is a store of the future! Abundance of organic produce, compostable bags. They don’t have bags at check out, you have to bring your own boxes or reusable bags that I found amazing considering how much waste humanity populates on daily basis! All veggies and fruits were top notch, very fresh and reasonably priced. I used to shop at Whole Foods living in nyc and Chicago but found this store is even a better alternative.

I love the variety of items available to purchase... you'll have no problem finding foods to meet your health needs, whether that is dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, etc.. Their customer service is always top notch. Make sure to join the reward program :)

Great selection! New place in 2019. Husband goes more often for Stevia, and new pill form of mineral that is helping his numbers for diabetic readings. Check this place out for your natural and organic needs when in Dubuque!

Two years ago, my husband and I were in Las Cruces, NM, and the only store we shopped at while he was undergoing treatment for three weeks was Natural Grocers. Organic, awesome fruits and vegetables, grass-fed meat; anything natural that you could possibly want or need!This past September, I was in Scottsdale, AZ for a month and my main go-to store was Natural Grocers. I am allergic to corn and wheat and was so excited that I could buy good organic gluten and corn-free options at such an amazing store!I am SO EXCITED that we FINALLY have a store that is listening to the “Health Heart” of Dubuque and the country!!Thank you Natural Grocers for coming here!!
