Decent place but they should probably change their hours on here drove 30 mins with my kids to find a closed half lit store with the open sign still on thanks for that !

I come back to this review to move it from 4 stars to 5. Matt has always been good to me at the bait shack as I’m sure anyone else that frequents their will say the same. The have everything you need, in the rare case they don’t, they can probably get it.

The guys at the bait shop were really fantastic. I am visiting from Albuquerque New Mexico and it was looking for a place to go fishing. Not only did they have information for me on where I could go and catch some fish but they helped me choose the correct tackle and bait to get the job done. I ended up catching a few smallmouth bass and some catfish. If you are visiting Dubuque and need some information on fishing this is the place to go.
