Sara at Hy-Vee Locust made this insanely delicious made-to-order veggie pizza with pesto, mozzarella, feta, and blue cheese. All that for $8!!!

The Chinese Express is killer! I was there a couple different times, and employee Dave was very helpful, and knowledgeable about the specific dinners, and wound up saving me some money by making my order a combo meal. I was taken in by the beautiful food on the line and didn't bother looking at the menu once. Thanks for guys like Dave.

I tend to gravitate towards Hy-Vee for all my grocery store needs. I love the fact I can pick up a spur-of-the-moment unique gift from their floral dept, or find a close-out item in the bargin-cart and take home a deal I wasn't even counting on. They will even find someone to assist me with a deli counter item after the meat dept has closed down for the evening. The only thing keeping me from giving a much deserved 5 star review is the fact that they now close at 11pm, and I am left longing for the store hours to return to 24/7.

Saturday morning I was searching for a bakery bread my neighbor could only remember as a French bread that started with a "b." I knew he liked a very soft bread but nothing with a sweet taste.When I went directly to the bakery counter I explained the situation to HyVee bakery employee Jackie who knew exactly which bread I was searching for.Thank you Jackie for your help and understanding it was the correct bread, he was very happy.

Tesla Supercharger location brought me there so I didn't grocery shop, but the food options were good. I tried the Asian food thru had... it wasn't too bad. Also there's a Wahlburgers there I didn't get a chance to try, maybe next time.

I just like to say thank you to the bakery people who made my daughters birthday cake. It was exactly like the pictures we sent in They did a fantastic job. My husband and I like this Hy-Vee location. We thought the store was large, very nicely stocked, everything was laid out well which made it easy to shop and find things, and the selection was great. Both deli and the meat counter had a nice selection and there is a variety of wines and alcohol. I liked that there was a lot of "gourmet" type things to select from such as spices, hot sauces, cheeses, local honey and other jarred sauces (including from Galena). The staff was beyond helpful when we couldn't find a product we were looking for and just super friendly in general. Inside this Hy-Vee location is a Wahlburgers (which includes a happy hour).

As soon I walked in, I was immediately met by a security person with a tazer and a firearm. I will never return. One person escorted me to the proper section upon request, but all positive vibes went out the window when after I paid for my items and walked past the "bagger". Makes me truly question staying in Dubuque, Iowa.

It's not Publix, but it's a good full range grocery store. Nothing memorable good or bad....which is what most people want from the place they get their groceries.

Nice place to shop and easy enough to get to for residents of Dubuque’s south end. Only thing is that it doesn’t have as extensive a beer/wine/spirits collection as the other Hy-Vees in the area.

I had the most amazing carrot cake today. The most in the cake its self was so delicious. The icing melted in my mouth. Hats off to the bakers at making sure it was fresh and delicious.

just bought a few things, but they didn't have any peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies, my faorite cookie, and apparently everyone else's. Ate dinner in the cafe, the BBQ ribs were awesome. As always, a great place to shop.

Got most of everything you may need. You might want to come early as this store will get busy on you and parking is an issue. Other than that. They have a sushi bar, Chinese, and home cooked food as well. Staff is great and can tell the employees like working there as their always willing to help you when you need help. I don't have anything bad to say about the store.
