Great store. The plaza parking is good. Price are affordable, great staff of people, clean restrooms and floor. They have a huge meat market, which is a must. I would recommend this place over all the other stores in the city. Due to the affordable prices you won't go wrong shopping here.

Greatest deals in town. Great Butcher counter service and very knowledgeable. Not sure if Matt Schuster works for them or not, but this man knows how to talk to people. Good Ole Boy.

I stopped at the Dubuque Fareway today - they had nice specials and I stopped at the meat counter to get the Ribeye on special. The person who waited on me gave me the New York Strip and put it in package marked Ribeye. Any person who has ever had either can tell the difference by size. I asked about it, they argued with me and were VERY rude. I will NEVER shop there again.

I like shopping here because I know where everything is in the aisles. The bakery and meat department is always fresh and tasty. Prices are comparable to other stores in dtown. The only downfall is that they don't carry some of the brands that I like.

I have nothing against the big chain grocery store that dominates Dubuque. But there’s something about Fareway which feels equally complete without being overblown. And it feels like a store that would be owned and managed by your next-door neighbor. Excellent selection of packaged and loose fruits and vegetables, canned foods, international foods, and frozen foods, in addition to the usual soaps, cleaners, and pet foods. They even have staff who will help you out to your car with your groceries and load them for you if you have need.

Every employee (and I really do mean every) that I have interacted with, is so nice. They are all helpful and polite. It's very refreshing! I come here every time I have a small shopping list. Great place to shop at!Update 19/4/2022: STILL love to shop here! They bag your groceries, help you to your car, and bring your cart back for you. You can't find that level of customer service anywhere else!16/7/2022 I come here for almost all my grocery shopping now. Purely for the customer service they provide. Today I even saw the store manager helping someone out to their vehicle and loading them into it for the woman. The store manager! They also seem to have a high retention rate for their employees, which also tells me this is a great company inside and out. Thank you guys for being so awesome!

this store is always clean and put together. I don’t have problems finding what I need and the prices are always agreeable. They have self check out but they also offer real cashiers will still take your groceries out to your car.

It's hard for me to give a grocery store a 5 but this came close. Organized, full shelves and friendly workers. Compared to other stores in the area prices were competitive and even good on sale items.

Very competitive privately owned well-stocked grocery store Best meat counter in town for quality and price, We there today and was impressed they matched competitors ads without being asked. Staff has always been great. Big enough to cover most of what we need. Small enough not to be overwhelming.

Not only did the bagger forget to bag several items but then added frozen stuff to my hot stuff in the same bag. The older check out ladies have been rude on several occasions. This place was great but recently have gone down hill. Other Fareway stores have staff that don't have RBF, are nice and have some common sense

I have to say this place is great overall, but I can’t say I love it. You see I love the products and how cheap it is, but it always has problems. I wish I could say this would be the best place to shop but I would be wrong to say its the worst by far. Overall Fareway has my vote, my vote of only having three stars…

The service was really good. I like how they take your cart out to your vehicle. It's those small gestures and/or convenience that can make a big difference than spending a little less money at Wally-World. The only thing I dislike is there fact that they put in automatic self checkout machines. Other than that the experience was tip-top.

Easy location to spot. Ample parking. Very clean store, lots of shopping carts and very clean restrooms. Excellent quality fresh produce and meats. Meat counter is always staffed by several people at the ready to get your fresh meat as well as deli meat together. Fareway matches their prices to local grocery stores' advertised so you don't have to run all over town trying to get the best deal on your groceries. Check out lines are never long as they will open another checkstand quickly. The grocery baggers are th friendliest of all the staff.If you deem this review helpful, please give it a like. Shopping at Fareway is easy and quick.The fresh fruit is delicious! Some shelving is too tall, but that is everywhere these days. I have to use my cane to reach items!

I love Fairway. It is not a megamart, thank God. It has food and a few other household items. The thing it has that keeps people going back is a meat counter. Good meat, good service and good prices. Yes the other big regional food market also has a meat counter, but ther the similarity ends. Fairway is better in all ways.
