Was just in there an asked for help and was totally insulted when couldn’t find item I was looking for. Older lady working at register was complaining on leaving from the moment o had even walked In. If it’s acceptable to insult customers who need a little help you’ll find no help from me supporting your business.

I went to the Dubuque, Iowa DG on JFK. The clerk, Antonio, went out of his way to help me, even opening the door when my hands were full! Thanks, DG and Antonio!

They do carry quite a few items here dispute it being a small store. The employees seem friendly. Although if you need help finding an item they can't leave the cashier area as there is only one employee in the store. Their prices are fairly low, and they do carry a lot of store brand items that are of good quality.

Only one worker, I would think that two employees should work at all times.... The lady working did a good job, quick to scan the items and attend to the next person and answer anyone's questions. They did not have what we needed at the time, which was ornaments. Other then that it was a three star experience.

My only complaint is the mess throughout the store. Each isle is filled with someone that doesn't belong. If you go by the shoes thru the toilet paper isle, good luck. BOX after box. The balloon and party favors isle is the worst. BUT Ms. Cathy is such a vibrant, wondering employee and the rest of the team is always pleasant, kind, and around.

The two lady's working there today where extremely rude. Knocked my can of Pringles on the ground after I picked them up didn't even say sorry. She was to busy to say anything else. Just handed me the reciet and did nothing else. I will never br going back again

It was very convenient, I had went to walmart and Walgreen looking for a product and could not find it I walked in dollar general asked the cashier if this store had the product she direct me to where it was at and it was exactly what I was looking for I was in there all together 4-5 mins quick check out very helpful cashier.

Well it ain't no dollar store but there are some things in there for a buck workers nice for the most part you can range from any price you know about 10 to only a dollar which is good up my alley

Dollar general is a good place for random knick knacks and other items, as well as cheap food and drinks. It isn't especially well organized, but if you have a need for something odd and general, you will probably find it.

Was there to western union money, and neither of the two employees had a clue how to do that which the guy at the cash register, in all fairness, wasn't manager and before calling for the woman who was management, he had said only management handled western union transactions, but she had no clue, and expected me to wait and let five people behind me go thru and check out before she was going to try to figure it out. I said forget it thanks anyways, and went down the road to hyvee because western union services were only open for another 20minutes. I would have been waiting on the 5 customers behind me still at dollar general and western union would have been closed. Awful woman they have as manager there.

There are three dollar generals in Dubuque. The JFK store is my favorite. They have a better selection of items - and the staff is always friendly.

I use to live in Dubuque over 14 years ago but visit from time to time and this store remains an unorganized, stressful ball of confusion, absolutely everytime I go into this location, the lines are super long, the employees are stressed, and one thing in particular, their balloon selects is a complete waste of time, unless you just need a single balloon, don't bother.

I like the store,but I was at the Kennedy circle location last Friday. I bought some cookies one of the cashier said it was full of sugar caffeine. I took it defensively kind of and almost walk out and took my business elsewhere, a lady behind be was purchasing juice that had sugar in it. She said nothing to her.

This app has lots of up to date movie choices and most importantly the most free movie choices which I mostly use keep up the great work that you are doing
