We stopped by for the first time the other day to buy some spice we saw they had in an online search. We only had a few minutes to buy this but we're impressed with the quantity of items available here. Are planning to go back when we have more time. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Quality ingredients at affordable prices and a small business to boot! Great for specialty staples like no sugar, no salt peanut butter, semolina flour, Arborio rice and so much more. This is a really cute little market in Dubuque.They don’t have any produce, but they have a wonderful selection of baking products, spices, snacks, sauces and candy.

Loved this store! We were visiting Dubuque from out of town for the weekend and staying down the road from this store. They have tons of bulk food, candy, seasonings, and much more!! They have many flavors of olive oil and balsamic vinegar you can have them fill in a bottle for you. We got candy, truffle olive oil, soup mix’s, taco seasoning, and flavored cheese. We can’t wait to try everything!

This store is a treasure with a wide variety of items. It smells so good inside and it certainly is worth looking around to see what you might find. The lady that helped us with super friendly and nice and gave us some advice for where we might find some items we were looking for.

I refer to this as "The Sprinkle Store"! 😊 I drag everyone to it every time I get to Dubuque. They have an incredible selection of sprinkles, candies, and spices. It is a great place to pick up a little bit of something you have wanted to try to incorporate into your cooking or baking. The prices are beyond reasonable. They have several types of fresh nuts that they will grind on-site for you into butter. There is a great selection of coffee, oils, and vinegars. It is an absolute gem of a store. Stop! You won't be disappointed!

I love this place! My daughter discovered Calico Bean & took me here on a visit a few years ago. Now that I live in the area, its where I go for all my spice, baking decorations, & specialty mixes not available anywhere else. This is a great little shop for specialty items and every day staples. My kids love the tiny alphabet noodles! The prices are a little high on some things, but it is worth spending a little more to shop with a small business. Check out the wall of sprinkles for your next baking adventure!

Great stop for unique food gifts and baking supplies. The peanut butter that is made in front of you is awesome, especially the cappuccino roasted peanut butter. The owner Teri is friendly and kind and welcomed our large group in and answered our numerous questions. Definitely will come again when I'm back in town.

This is one of my favorite stores in Dubuque! They have bulk foods, baking items, specialty coffee, spices, dip mixes, soup mixes, sauces, olive and balsamics and they have 3 fresh ground nut butter machines! They honey roasted peanut butter is hands down the best!

Wow, every city needs a store like Calico Bean Market: seasonings, coffees, teas, infused oils, herbs, culinary specialties, and fresh peanut butters! Did I mention the confectionary ingredients or the chocolates? Excellent place to visit and buy those hard to find items.

This place is absolutely incredible. Extensive selection of spices, herbs, oils, coffee, candies and baking ingredients. Extremely friendly staff. All of it is done in house and is more than reasonably priced. It is also locally-owned. If you're into cooking or baking ect. This place is an absolute must.

I spent about an hour in this place one afternoon and between the huge variety of odds and ends, and the friendly folks that work there; I had super time. Came away with some popcorn, several different flavors of coffee, and some freshly ground peanut butter. If you like to cook and like a more natural/organic menu, I highly recommend this place. I know I'll be going back!
